SASO 2017 is over, but this round is perpetually open to new fills (no new prompts).

An oldie but a goodie—in this round, we draw inspiration from famous words said by other people.

Please read this whole post before commenting to ensure that your team gets the most points possible.

RULES

• Submit prompts by commenting to this post with a quote attributed to a specific person or character, along with any ship/ot3/etc. from one of our nominated fandoms.
  • Example: "That which does not kill us makes us stronger." -Friedrich Nietzsche
  • The quote can come from almost anything—famous people, poetry, songs, books, movies, etc.— but please don't quote personal conversations you've had or overheard.
  • Your prompt MUST include some kind of relationship. Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Natsuo & Yuzuko). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Natsuo/Yuzuko). Please don't say "Any pairing," either!

SCORING

These numbers apply to your team as a whole, not each individual teammate. Make as many prompts/fills as you want!

For prompts: 5 points each (maximum of 50 prompt points per team per round)

For fills:
First 4 fills by any member of your team: 20 points each
Fills 5-10: 15 points each
Fills 11-20: 5 points each
Fills 21-50: 2 points each
Fills 51+: 1 point each

All scored content must be created new for this round.

Continuation of the verse where ImaHana and Mido go to the same school and are friends.

Imayoshi and Hanamiya stared down at the leaflets that had been thrust at their chests, then at Midousuji.

“You want us to go to another school’s talent show?” Hanamiya asked, reading over the details quickly. “Why? Is there someone there you want to be booed off the stage?”

“No,” Midousuji said, clicking his teeth in a rattlesnake’s warning at Hanamiya. “My boyfriend is performing. He’s going to sing the Hime Hime song that he sings when cycling and you are going to clap. Both of you. Or I’ll break your hands and your fingers and you’ll never play basketball again.”

Midousuji had a vague notion that friendship didn’t usually involve this many threats but it wasn’t as if the other two ever really minded or even took him serious. Having people brush off his threats was a new experience for Midousuji and if it weren’t for how casually they threatened each other as well, he might have been annoyed.

Instead, he decided that threatening your friends was a standard part of bonding and that was why Imayoshi and Hanamiya never cared when he threatened them. It also meant he could ignore their threats, though theirs were rather more veiled than his.

“Hime Hime song?” Imayoshi questioned, smiling at Midousuji. “Of course we’ll clap for your boyfriend. You’ll introduce us after the show, won’t you? We’d love to meet him.”

“Yes.” Midousuji had already planned to show his two new friends to Onoda. See? He’d done as you asked! This was the proof of it! It would be like Show-and-Tell in kindergarten, except Onoda would be impressed instead of laughing at him.

“Splendid. Then we’ll be there.” Imayoshi smiled at Midousuji again, putting an arm around Hanamiya and squeezing in warning when he knew Hanamiya was about to protest.

As soon as Midousuji left, Hanamiya demanded, “Are we really going to sit through an entire talent show just to meet his boyfriend?”

“We’ll have a little contest,” Imayoshi said soothingly. “Each of us will try to come up with the most cutting remark to make afterwards to the contestants - barring Midousuji’s little boyfriend, of course.”

Hanamiya brightened up at that thought, “Maybe there’ll be some dancers. They’re so highstrung.”

“Maybe,” Imayoshi said. He’d have to get hold of a program before Hanamiya, somehow. If there wasn’t anyone for Hanamiya to cripple, he’d take it out on Midousuji’s boyfriend. Hanamiya just couldn’t help wanting to destroy everything and everyone - Midousuji could stand up to it but his boyfriend might be a different story.

Besides Imayoshi was curious as to what sort of person could win Midousuji's heart.
