honestly, between this and my other fills for them so far, i'm realising more and more how much my interpretation does revolve around that: staying. they're both fairly charismatic characters that are actually, quite private & withheld with giving out information about themselves in canon, but they still??? hang around each other so much?? like, they don't ostensibly gain anything but they just let it happen anyway, they stay, and that. sticks with me, i guess.
