The rage
The fires are doused with snow
Regret
Loss

Last year
We tried so hard

Only the strong survive
That’s the way the world works

Waste of talent
You tell me

I say
Your words are a waste of breath

My talent bloomed
I fought till the end

We’re finished
We’re done
Our last
And our best

We take
Another step towards the future
Our future
Together

Like rocks we fight against the tide
Against all odds we will survive
This cold
It seeps
Into
Our
Bones

We tried
Our best
And that is the best
We can ask for
