!!! i am so moved by this, first of all because i didn't know anyone had even read that fill. but then also, more important, i love the oral interpretation of it! i always wonder how other people are reading something in their own heads, and how it aligns with and differs from how i hear it myself. i really got the sense of wistfulness and the little bit of hope that keeps it from being pure melancholy in the way you narrated. ahh~ i love this so much (and i have downloaded it to keep forever). how would you feel about me linking to it from ao3, if i decide to put the written version there?
