Title: iwaoi, necromancy 1 URL:link here Creator(s):sotongsotong Rating: G Major Tags: past character death Why is this work awesome?: Not even gonna lie, I love necromancy and I love when everything just feels so cold (I LOVE THAT OIKAWA KEEPS IWAIZUMI’S BODY IN A POND!!), and this fill has all of that, but also: that light touch of something so soft and bittersweet when things are so changed between them, but ultimately not at all. It’s desperate, and it’s lovely, and I love Oikawa grasping for all that he can. It’s a good look for him.

Title: iwaoi, necromancy 2 URL:link here Creator(s):sotongsotong Rating: G Major Tags: none Why is this work awesome?: KAGEYAMA SAYING “IWA-CHAN-SAN” IS A GIFT. This is such a great follow-up to the first necromancy fill, which was full of heartache, because this one goes right into that wonderful, affectionate iwaoi kind of bickering that they do, while apprentice Kageyama kinda just… awkwardly looks on, and it’s every kind of funny and delightful.

Title: iwaoi, Pushing Daisies AU URL:link here Creator(s):kiyala Rating: T Major Tags: references to character death Why is this work awesome?: I absolutely love the way this is written -- the daily happenings of their lives, the reminder that They Do Not Touch. It’s the contrast of complete normalcy, of sweet domesticity, with that constant niggling feeling of death that’s always there, that really sets a great tone for this. The cling wrap kiss is a classic, and I’ve always loved the normalcy vs weirdness of that, too.
