Considering how Hephaestion was Alexander's confidant and also took no bs, I totally agree! He'd definitely know when and how to put his foot down. The parallels to Iwaoi just kill me.
She really has a way with words, and shows love so genuinely? Especially how it builds up over time, and I adore it so much? Unfortunately, I haven't read the Charioteer, just the Alexander trilogy, but I will definitely put it on my reading list!
