i didn't manage to squeeze it in but i actually headcanoned yuuri is a professional musician himself, just not as well-known or as high-profile as victor. also i had a feeling yuuri would like the impressionists esp ones like saint-saëns and debussy- can you imagine yuuri playing debussy's La cathédrale engloutie??? it's so stunning and moody and gorgeous askjdnsdg

also ofc victor is a musician in the style of the old russian composers okay, i'm sure he's definitely also done his share of brilliant and heart-rending interpretations of the impressionists and other romantic composers but in my mind he's a rachmaninoff, stravinsky sort of person lol
