It starts with an argument, but Kimishita knows that when they're both in the same room together, that sort of thing is always inevitable. He doesn't really know what more to expect when Ooshiba asks (demands, in his haughty, irritating way) for help with their upcoming mathematics exam. It's a good day when Ooshiba can admit that he's not good at something, and Kimishita goes along with it, thinking to himself that maybe if he can cram enough equations through Ooshiba's thick skull today, they won't have to lose time later when he has to sit for his makeup exams after failing these ones.
Sitting there in Ooshiba's room, bickering over grades, then algebra, then everything else under the sun, just like every other argument that they have. Ooshiba's parents aren't home, and neither is his sister, which gives them free reign to be just as loud as they want. There's no one else to hear all the names that Kimishita calls Ooshiba, each one louder than the last until they're yelling into each other's faces. Ooshiba grabs hold of the front of Kimishita's shirt with one hand, and punches him with the other.
The pain rings through Kimishita's head and he pulls himself free, jabbing his fist right into Ooshiba's side in reply. He pushes Ooshiba down onto the floor, punching him again. Ooshiba is bigger though, stronger, and he rolls them over, grabbing Kimishita by the wrists to stop his punches.
"Fuck you," Kimishita bites out, as their lips meet in a hard kiss. He bites at Ooshiba's mouth, teeth sinking into his lower lip. Ooshiba hisses loudly, pulling back to complain, but Kimishita doesn't give him time to, sitting up and kissing him again.
He hates that this part is just as predictable, when they're alone together. They're not dating; they tried it, it didn't work, and they were meant to have left it behind them, but they keep coming back to this.
"Kiichi," Kimishita growls when he feels Ooshiba's teeth scrape against his neck. "Kiichi. Stop that."
"I'm not leaving a mark," Ooshiba pouts. "You like it, don't you?"
"It's not about what I like," Kimishita replies, pushing Ooshiba away. "I keep telling you to stop being greedy."
Ooshiba frowns down at him, and Kimishita sighs, propping himself up with his elbows. He knows Ooshiba isn't going to learn. Not this quickly, anyway. He wipes his mouth on the back of his hand, fixing his skewed glasses, ready to get back to studying when Ooshiba grabs his chin and kisses him again. Kimishita bites him, but Ooshiba bites back, refusing to give any ground.
With a sigh, Kimishita wraps his arms around Ooshiba and bites him harder this time, then kisses the same spot. Old habits are hard to break, after all, and Kimishita knows that Ooshiba isn't the only one who can be greedy.
