I love how visceral the imagery is, how soft the leftover unease of feeling in the memories this evokes. the contrast of this is especially felt in "this is there the bullet would go [...]", I love how vivid "my hands over your hands / my mouth on your mouth" is. it's violent, it's soft, it's a beautiful feeling. thank you for such a lovely read.
