"You didn't have to kiss him, though," Kagami says, and he sounds a little put out by it, which only makes Himuro laugh.
"That, I didn't," he admits, licking his lips like he can still taste Aomine on them. He catches Kagami following the movement with his gaze, and he's tempted to ask, would you have preferred if I kissed you instead?
He doesn't, but Aomine says for him instead, and it just leads to Kagami sputtering with indignation. Himuro notices that it's not an outright no. Aomine, who finally pushes himself back up to stand up properly, seems to notice it too. He exchanges a glance with Himuro, and it feels far too early in their acquaintance to be having wordless conversations like this, but, well. Things have always been a little different when Kagami is involved, in one way or another.
"Why don't you come home with us?" Aomine asks, and at Kagami's additional splutter, adds, "In an unsexy way, okay, Kagami? Just in a regular come over and visit sort of way, because it's a hell of a lot more comfortable than having reunions in back alleys."
Himuro grins, deciding that at the very least, Aomine's going to be fun. "You live together?"
"It's a separate beds situation," Aomine answers breezily, even as he wraps his arm around Kagami's shoulder.
"You've only been inside him in the demonic way?" Himuro asks, and it shouldn't be this fun to continually make Kagami choke on his own spit, but he's never been a very nice person anyway. "Shame."
"Have you?" Aomine asks, nodding towards Kagami. "Been in him? In any kind of way?"
"You're incredibly invasive, aren't you?" Himuro asks, raising an eyebrow.
"Not good with boundaries," Aomine replies with a light shrug. "Part of the whole possessing people thing."
"Excuses," Himuro tuts, shaking his head. "I haven't, for what it's worth."
Aomine lifts an eyebrow at him, and Himuro gets the unspoken, but you wanted it. Or you want it now..
"Tatsuya's like my older brother," Kagami finally chokes out, and that gives Aomine pause, looking at Himuro again.
Himuro meets his gaze calmly, wondering if Aomine's judging him for it, but in the end, he just shrugs.
"Being like brothers is different to actually being brothers, right?" Aomine asks, patting Kagami on the back. "In the important ways, anyway."
"This isn't how I wanted this to go," Kagami mumbles, covering his face with both hands.
"It's okay," Himuro replies with a smile, placing his hand on Kagami's back too, his pinky pressed up against Aomine's. "This is still fun."
