sportsanime | Bonus Round 2: Images

Back by popular demand, this round uses official canon artwork as fodder for speculation and extrapolation.
Please read the rules carefully before posting!

This round is CLOSED as of 7PM on June 23 EDT. Late fills may be posted, but they will not receive points.

RULES

Submit prompts in the form of a canon screencap from one of our nominated fandoms along with a ship. Screencaps can be from the anime or manga, as well as any other kind of offshoot media, e.g. official art, drama CD covers, light novel illustrations, magazine covers, photos from stage plays, and/or caps from games.
- Doujinshi, fan-made games or any other fan-created work should not be prompted, even if you receive permission. Only prompt official, canon artwork.
- Keep your prompt concise. Don't prompt a whole manga chapter, for example.
- Your prompt MUST include some kind of relationship. Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Abe & Tajima). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Abe/Tajima). Please don't say "Any pairing," either!
- Upload the cap somewhere (imgur works well) and post here with the images themselves or a link to them. Including a text-only summary of the image is encouraged.
Fill prompts by leaving a responding comment to the prompt with your newly-created work inspired by the cap.
- Fills can be directly connected to the cap, e.g. panel redraws or writing fic that fleshes out the moment that was capped or that fleshes out what happened directly before/after, but fills can also be more indirectly linked. As long as the work is somehow inspired by the cap, it counts.
- Fills that are too long to fit in a single comment should have the rest of the fill placed as replies to the original fill comment. The subjects of these extra comments should be something like "part 2 of X" or "continued."

SCORING

These numbers apply to your team as a whole, not each individual teammate. Make as many prompts/fills as you want!

For prompts: 5 points each (maximum of 50 prompt points per team per round)

For fills:

First 3 fills by any member of your team: 20 points each
Fills 4-10: 10 points each
Fills 11-20: 5 points each
Fills 21+: 2 points each

All scored content must be created new for this round.

Etc.

They're barely five minutes into morning practice when Hinata explodes with nervous energy. "He's not talking! How am I supposed to know what he thinks when he's not talking?"

Kageyama just glares. It's not his fault for losing his voi- Well, technically, it was his fault for screaming so much at the game on TV that he woke up with a sore throat. Still, was it too much to ask for his team to carry on like normal at practice?

"Just do that freaky synchronous thing you always do," Tsukishima says, looking annoyed as he spins a volleyball in his hands. He takes another look at Kageyama's scowl and snorts. "The King wants you to quiet down, Hinata. You're being too loud."

"You're lying! How do you know how Kageyama feels? Can you read minds?"

Tsukishima just stares while Yamaguchi laughs. "It's obvious."

When Hinata comes over to squint at him, Kageyama tries his best not to throw the a volleyball at Hinata's head. "Is Tsukishima right? Nod once if yes!"

Kageyama nods.

"Are you done wasting time?" Tsukishima asks, adopting his Exasperated Captain voice as the underclassmen watch them. "If you can't read Kageyama's moves by now, then pay more attention. You need to be perceptive about your opponents, but it's even more important to understand your teammates. Now break into groups of two to practice receiving." This effectively ends the gawking session as first and second years scatter around the gym. When Kageyama gives him a grateful look, Tsukishima just rolls his eyes. "You're welcome."

Unfortunately, the rest of his day plays out in a similar fashion. When Kageyama gets called out by Sakurai-sensei in the hallway, Tsukishima tells her about Kageyama's voice loss before Kageyama can do something embarrassing. Later, when Kageyama is in the canteen, Tsukishima appears out of nowhere and orders Kageyama's usual combo without being asked. By the time Tsukishima answers Yamaguchi's question about Kageyama’s serve, Kageyama has had enough.

"What?" Tsukishima asks when Kageyama pulls him aside after practice. The club room is already empty, save for a wide eyed first year who hurries out at the sight of potential conflict.

Kageyama frowns.

"I'm helping you rest your throat." Tsukishima tsks and pulls some lozenges out of his bag. "Take these. What? I don't care if you don't like strawberry."

"Enough," Kageyama tries to say, but his voice comes out in a weird rasp instead. He makes some hand gestures to convey his concern.

Tsukishima gives him an annoyed look. "Nobody cares, King." When Kageyama glares at him, Tsukishima continues. "Fine. Nobody cares, Tobio. Everyone knows we're dating."

Kageyama responds by glaring at the wall.

"Stop sulking." Tsukishima grabs Kageyama by the arm. "Your voice will come back soon, and then you can tell Hinata to shut up yourself."

Romantic, Kageyama thinks sardonically.

"Yeah, I know," Tsukishima says and buys Kageyama three meat buns on their way home.
