Bonus Round 2: Images

Please read the rules carefully before posting!
This round is CLOSED as of 7PM on June 23 EDT. Late fills may be posted, but they will not receive points.
RULES
- Submit prompts in the form of a canon screencap from one of our nominated fandoms along with a ship. Screencaps can be from the anime or manga, as well as any other kind of offshoot media, e.g. official art, drama CD covers, light novel illustrations, magazine covers, photos from stage plays, and/or caps from games.
- Doujinshi, fan-made games or any other fan-created work should not be prompted, even if you receive permission. Only prompt official, canon artwork.
- Keep your prompt concise. Don't prompt a whole manga chapter, for example.
- Your prompt MUST include some kind of relationship. Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Abe & Tajima). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Abe/Tajima). Please don't say "Any pairing," either!
- Upload the cap somewhere (imgur works well) and post here with the images themselves or a link to them. Including a text-only summary of the image is encouraged.
- Fill prompts by leaving a responding comment to the prompt with your newly-created work inspired by the cap.
- Fills can be directly connected to the cap, e.g. panel redraws or writing fic that fleshes out the moment that was capped or that fleshes out what happened directly before/after, but fills can also be more indirectly linked. As long as the work is somehow inspired by the cap, it counts.
- Fills that are too long to fit in a single comment should have the rest of the fill placed as replies to the original fill comment. The subjects of these extra comments should be something like "part 2 of X" or "continued."
- Remember to follow the general bonus round rules, outlined here.

FILL: TEAM MIYUKI KAZUYA/MIYUKI KAZUYA, G
Word Count: 609
"There's the Tanba I'm so familiar with!" Mei says, voice loud enough to rise above the stadium's ambient noise.
His shout pulls Tanba to a halt and for a single moment it feels as if they're alone, never mind the presence of their teammates all around them, moving past them, heading down the hall and out of the stadium. Tanba stops, and Mei draws up beside him, and the need to hurry away from the field all but vanishes.
"Mei," Tanba says, and gets no further. He doesn't have the words to ask, what is it Mei wanted?
Mei has no such difficulties. He claps Tanba on the shoulder, easy and familiar, and slides into place at his side. They keep moving, Tanba's feet restarting as if he's come alive at the touch. Mei doesn't remove his hand, just lets it slide down Tanba's arm to catch around his wrist, almost like they're holding hands.
"It feels like I haven't played against you in ages," Mei says, all too cheerfully. "Is that coach of yours not using you much? Someone else opened, the last time we played each other, who was it... Hmm... That new guy, the one with the beard? Him?"
Mei raises his free hand to his face, drawing thumb and forefinger down the sides of his jaw in illustration of the beard in question. He laughs, and leans in a little closer. "But you pitched today! I didn't even get a hit off of you. But I will next time, make no mistake! Even if your forkball is kind of scary, coming across the plate."
"We lost," Tanba points out.
He's himself at a loss, always left at loose ends for how to handle Mei. He's a force of nature, the sort of person who decides when he wants your company and once he has there's absolutely no getting out of it. Tanba thinks, maybe, that they've come to be friends.
"That doesn't matter," Mei says, waving one hand dismissively. The other is still around Tanba's wrist, thumb stroking soft circles into the sensitive skin of Tanba's arm. "You pitched well! The season isn't over. There's always the next game."
"I suppose that's true," Tanba says, agreeably enough.
"Of course it is," Mei says. "I'm the one who said it."
There comes that feeling again, like the bottom dropping out of Tanba's gut so gently he almost doesn't catch it. Mei keeps him in freefall, constantly surprised, always a little helpless. Mei drops his hand lower, and then he is holding Tanba's hand, hot little fingers closed all of the way around it.
"My teammates are getting together after the game," Tanba says, somewhat apologetically. "It's become something of a tradition, to drown a loss in drinking."
"Mine too," Mei laughs. "Though not for the same reason! I'll return you to your buddies, don't you worry."
Tanba's eyes drop to their joined hands, almost against his will. He could pull out of Mei's hold, even as secure as it is, palm pressed to Tanba's palm and fingers confidently squeezing. He simply isn't certain he wants to.
"We could meet up sometime," Mei says, following Tanba's gaze down before sliding his own back up, looking Tanba in the face as he leans in close. "You could come to one of our celebrations. Wouldn't that be nice?"
"Your teammates might not like that," Tanba points out. What he doesn't say is, no.
"They'll learn to like it," Mei insists. "Maybe not this time, but... Next time. Come have a drink with me."
"Maybe next time," Tanba says. "If you haven't reconsidered."
What he means to say is, yes.
