Bonus Round 2: Images

Bonus Round 2: Images

Back by popular demand, this round uses official canon artwork as fodder for speculation and extrapolation.
Please read the rules carefully before posting!

This round is CLOSED as of 7PM on June 23 EDT. Late fills may be posted, but they will not receive points.

RULES
  • Submit prompts in the form of a canon screencap from one of our nominated fandoms along with a ship. Screencaps can be from the anime or manga, as well as any other kind of offshoot media, e.g. official art, drama CD covers, light novel illustrations, magazine covers, photos from stage plays, and/or caps from games.
    • Doujinshi, fan-made games or any other fan-created work should not be prompted, even if you receive permission. Only prompt official, canon artwork.
    • Keep your prompt concise. Don't prompt a whole manga chapter, for example.
    • Your prompt MUST include some kind of relationship. Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Abe & Tajima). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Abe/Tajima). Please don't say "Any pairing," either!
    • Upload the cap somewhere (imgur works well) and post here with the images themselves or a link to them. Including a text-only summary of the image is encouraged.
  • Fill prompts by leaving a responding comment to the prompt with your newly-created work inspired by the cap.
    • Fills can be directly connected to the cap, e.g. panel redraws or writing fic that fleshes out the moment that was capped or that fleshes out what happened directly before/after, but fills can also be more indirectly linked. As long as the work is somehow inspired by the cap, it counts.
    • Fills that are too long to fit in a single comment should have the rest of the fill placed as replies to the original fill comment. The subjects of these extra comments should be something like "part 2 of X" or "continued."
  • Remember to follow the general bonus round rules, outlined here.

SCORING
These numbers apply to your team as a whole, not each individual teammate. Make as many prompts/fills as you want!

For prompts: 5 points each (maximum of 50 prompt points per team per round)

For fills:

First 3 fills by any member of your team: 20 points each
Fills 4-10: 10 points each
Fills 11-20: 5 points each
Fills 21+: 2 points each

All scored content must be created new for this round.

Etc.
If you're hunting through the prompts looking for what to fill, a good trick is to view top-level comments only.

face-related body fluids, dacryphilia, kind of. rated M for general grossness not for any explicit material

451 words

Ryousuke has caught Tanba crying more times than he can count. Now he seeks Tanba out when he has a suspicion.

“We’ve really got to stop meeting like this,” Ryousuke says, standing in the entrance of the dugout.

Tanba doesn’t quite startle, but his shoulders hunch up and then relax after a beat. “Oh,” he says, his voice thick. He doesn’t turn around to see who it is. “Hi.”

Ryousuke makes his way over to the bench where Tanba’s sitting, his steps slow and careful and obvious. Sometimes approaching Tanba is like approaching a scared animal in the wild, or at least Ryousuke likes to think so. He steps over the bench to the other side so he can face Tanba. Tanba’s still crouched over his lap, face in his hands. Ryousuke sighs, and uses his foot to nudge at Tanba’s shin.

It’s so easy; Tanba lets his legs fall open so that Ryousuke can stand between them. He tucks two fingers under Tanba’s chin and pushes up. Tanba lets his hands fall to his knees.

“Look at this, making a mess of yourself,” Ryousuke murmurs, pulling out the tissues he’d brought with him. He pats Tanba’s cheek with his other hand. “Are you done crying?”

Tanba’s eyes are rimmed red and his eyelids are swollen. No one looks particularly good while crying, but that doesn’t stop Ryousuke’s interest in looking at Tanba when he’s crying.

Tanba nods, his eyes lowered. He gives a sniff.

“Well, of course it’s alright if you want to cry again, isn’t it?” Ryousuke smiles serenely, and watches the flush crawl up Tanba’s neck and ears to join his already red face. “Here we go,” he says, finally lifting a tissue to Tanba’s face.

He wipes carefully at his cheeks first, briefly considers spitting on the tissue to make it easier to clean up the dried tear tracks. But Tanba would probably be too embarrassed after that, and Ryousuke needs Tanba to be able to look him in the face.

Next he gently holds the tissue to Tanba’s eyes, lets it soak up any tears that were still waiting.

Finally he pinches Tanba’s nose with a fresh tissue. “Blow,” Ryousuke says, suppressing a laugh. Tanba frowns and then blows his nose. Ryousuke pinches the tissue further closed and pulls it away, folds it over to clean up the rest of Tanba’s nose.

“That’s gross,” Ryousuke says cheerfully. “But we’re all done now, big guy.”

“Thanks,” Tanba says. His eyes are still a little shiny with tears.

Ryousuke can feel his mouth water. He lets out a sigh and gives Tanba’s head a rub. “I won’t tell anyone you were crying.”

“I know,” Tanba says.
