Feeling generous? In this round, you get to give creative gifts as prompts.

This round is CLOSED as of 7PM on July 7 EDT. Late fills may be posted, but they will not receive points.

RULES

Submit prompts as a gift tag in the format below. You can specify the size and a characteristic of the gift, who the sender is, who the recipient is, and a one or two sentence note from the sender to the recipient. Descriptions of the package and the included note don’t have to be explicit, see below.

Your prompt MUST include a relationship. Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Riko & Momoi). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Riko/Momoi). Please don't say "Any pairing," either.
Fill prompts by leaving a responding comment to the prompt with your newly-created work. Fillers can get creative with how to interpret the prompt: your fill can be about the character receiving the gift, one or both characters using the gift, what prompted the sender to send the gift—the physical gift itself can even be excluded from your fill. What’s important is that the gift tag is clearly the inspiration for your fill.

SCORING

These numbers apply to your team as a whole, not each individual teammate. Make as many prompts/fills as you want!

For prompts: 5 points each (maximum of 50 prompt points per team per round)

For fills:

First 3 fills by any member of your team: 20 points each
Fills 4-10: 10 points each
Fills 11-20: 5 points each
Fills 21+: 2 points each

All scored content must be created new for this round.

Imaizumi/Naruko, G, 458 words, no tags

Naruko barely has one foot out of the cab when he unlocks his phone and presses the number on his speed dial. He waits two beats before Imaizumi answers, and Naruko grins to himself as he approaches his apartment building. "Did you get it?" He asks before Imaizumi can say anything.

"The magazine?" Imaizumi asks.

There's a mother with a stroller fumbling with her bag at the base of the apartment building. Naruko takes that as his cue to swipe his keycard against the entrance and open the door for her. His overnight bag knocks into the door frame, but there's nothing of value in there besides his sweaty jersey and torn bib number. Naruko winks at the mother when she thanks him profusely and holds the door open. "What are you doing anyway?" He asks Imaizumi, who has been quiet on the other end.

"Cooking," Imaizumi says as something beeps in the background. "Anyways, I saw the magazine spread."

Naruko can feel himself beaming. "We look good, don't we?"

"You know I have my own copy, right? You didn't need to send yours back here," Imaizumi says, although he sounds more fond than annoyed.

"I wanted to buy as many copies as possible," Naruko declares while approaching the elevators. "It's not every day we both get interviewed by the same magazine, Hotshot!"

Imaizumi is quiet for a moment as the sound of plates clinking carry over the phone. "We shared magazine interviews in high school."

Naruko jumps into the elevator and presses the number for his floor. Thankfully, his reception only falters a little. "That doesn't count, Hotshot. We're professionals now!"

Just to be difficult, Imaizumi says, "We've been professionals for three years."

"Ack!" Naruko rolls his eyes and exit at his floor. "You know what I mean!"

"Are you on your way back?" Imaizumi asks just as Naruko sticks his keys into the knob and flings the door open. Imaizumi turns around from his spot in the kitchen, where he's leaning against the counter with Naruko's Tiger apron on. Imaizumi tsks as Naruko drops his bag on the floor. Still, he gives Naruko a small smile and says, "welcome home. How was the race?"

Naruko quickly strides over to Imaizumi and throws himself across his boyfriend's back. He pulls his medal out of his pocket and loops it over Imaizumi's head. "Fun. I wish you'd raced."

"My team just finished our training camp yesterday," Imaizumi reminds him. He pries one of Naruko's hands off his shoulder. "The food is gonna get cold."

Naruko peers over the pot. "You made curry?" He sniffs. "With whole milk?"

"Your favorite," Imaizumi says with a small smile.

"You're my favorite!" Naruko grins wildly. "Now let's eat!"
