Bonus Round 3: Gift Tags

This round is CLOSED as of 7PM on July 7 EDT. Late fills may be posted, but they will not receive points.
RULES
- Submit prompts as a gift tag in the format below. You can specify the size and a characteristic of the gift, who the sender is, who the recipient is, and a one or two sentence note from the sender to the recipient. Descriptions of the package and the included note don’t have to be explicit, see below.
- Package: medium sized cube, rattles
From: Kageyama Tobio
To: Hinata Shouyou
Note: These will help you get better. - Envelope: manila, 12''x17'', very thick and heavy
From: Tezuka Kunimitsu
To: Kinjou Shingo
Note: Enclosed - Play without regrets! - Your prompt MUST include a relationship. Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Riko & Momoi). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Riko/Momoi). Please don't say "Any pairing," either.
- Fill prompts by leaving a responding comment to the prompt with your newly-created work. Fillers can get creative with how to interpret the prompt: your fill can be about the character receiving the gift, one or both characters using the gift, what prompted the sender to send the gift—the physical gift itself can even be excluded from your fill. What’s important is that the gift tag is clearly the inspiration for your fill.
- Remember to follow the general bonus round rules, outlined here.

Mayuzumi is forced to confront his problem when Akashi sends a whole chest of books to his residence. It's heavy enough that the delivery men give Mayuzumi the stink eye when he signs for the package, but they’re the least of Mayuzumi's concerns when he opens the chest to find first edition copies of his favorite titles.
This is ridiculous, Mayuzumi thinks as he flips through his wallet for Akashi's business card. He hadn’t expected to make this call upon running into his former basketball teammate slash personal nightmare at the Tokyo Publishing Awards Gala. Then again, Mayuzumi also hadn't expected to win anything when his publicist strong armed him into attending. These days, Mayuzumi’s luck was as nonexistent as his preferred anonymity.
Unsurprisingly, Akashi doesn't answer the phone, and Mayuzumi rolls his eyes when the call is redirected to his secretary. He tries to pass along a message but is somehow coerced into making an appointment with the devil himself.
It's probably his fault for letting obligatory small talk with Akashi turn into a long conversation about their favorite authors. Years in the publishing world has dulled Mayuzumi's sense of danger, which constantly hovered over the precipice back in his Rakuzan days.
But Akashi is different now. Since Mayuzumi's departure from the world of high school basketball, Akashi has gotten more civilized and less demanding. It also doesn't take a genius to notice that his eyes have returned to the same color, although Mayuzumi would eat his own book before complimenting Akashi's appearance.
This attitude of quiet indifference helps Mayuzumi get through his days, so he tries the same approach while sliding into the seat opposite Akashi's at their lunch appointment a week later.
Unfortunately, Akashi is still an unpredictable asshole "Mayuzumi-san," Akashi says without looking up from his menu. "I hope you don't mind that I’ve ordered drinks for you."
Mayuzumi wants to say something biting, like that he hates wine. Unfortunately, Akashi is spot on about his preference for Dom Perignon. "Fine," Mayuzumi says at last. "I came here to tell you to stop sending me expensive books."
"They're simply extras from my personal collection," Akashi says easily, clad in his expensive suit with his perfectly straight tie. "You've mentioned your interest in some of those titles."
Mayuzumi squints. "Why am I here, Akashi?"
"Why are you here, Mayuzumi-san?" Akashi leans in on his elbows. "You seem so disinterested in me and affronted by my attention, yet no one forced you to come have lunch with me. Do you hate the fact that I sent you books, or are you upset that I understand your literary taste better than you expected?"
It's funny, Mayuzumi thinks, for him to be caught so off guard by Akashi. He'd spent years writing characters based off this man, but fiction pales in comparison to reality.
Akashi takes a sip from his glass. "Perhaps you are just as interested in me as I am in you, Mayuzumi-san. If not, then you can at least write another dystopian story starring me." The smile he sends Mayuzumi is small and almost genuine.
Mayuzumi considers this briefly. "Fine, but you're paying for lunch."
