This round is CLOSED as of 7PM on August 4 EDT. Late fills may be posted, but they will not receive points.

- Your fill still has to be about a ship from one of our nominated fandoms. What ships you create work for is up to you, though.
- To submit your fill, simply leave it as a comment as a reply to this post.
- Remember to follow the general bonus round rules, outlined here.

Tooru's day goes something like this:
He wakes up in the morning to an empty bed, yawning and rubbing the sleep out of his eyes.
He mumbles a good morning to Hajime, who is doing morning push ups in the lounge room. (They do not touch).
He waits for Hajime to finish his morning work out routine and hit the showers.
He takes Hajime's place on the same spot on the floor and does his morning work out routine, starting with sit ups. (He can feel the residual warmth of Hajime's body against the floor).
He gets into the shower once Hajime gets out. (They do not touch).
He finishes his shower to the smell of breakfast, cooked by Hajime, who has split everything into two plates for them. They sit down at their table to eat together. (They do not touch).
He leads the way downstairs, to the pie shop that he owns, and starts preparations for the day. He stays in the kitchen, getting the ovens warmed up and pulling chilled dough out of the fridge to turn into his first batch of pie crusts, before he works on making others. Hajime takes care of the front of the shop, making sure everything is neat and ready for their customers. He's good at dealing with people in a way that Tooru doesn't remember from—before. Tooru tries not to think of before very much, because it's filled with too much guilt, too much confusion.
Focusing on now is better. His present has Hajime, living and breathing, just like his past did, and slightly less guilt.
So maybe he can't touch Hajime, because it will immediately kill him.
So maybe the guilt isn't entirely gone.
It's fine. Tooru can work with it.
It's better than the alternative, anyway, where Hajime isn't living and breathing any more. He'd rather never be able to touch Hajime again than deal with that.
Besides, Tooru and Hajime are both clever. They've figured out how to work their way around the no-touching rule, with a lot of coaxing from Hajime's part, even if Tooru was too nervous about the whole thing to tease Hajime for just how eager he was.
"Shop's opening in fifteen," Hajime calls out, and Tooru hears his approaching footsteps, as he comes to join him in the kitchen. "Is everything good back here?"
"Of course, Iwa-chan," Tooru smiles. "It always is."
Hajime hums, watching Tooru for a moment before he reaches to the bench at his side, picking up the roll of cling wrap.
He walks over to Tooru, spreading the cling wrap out like a screen between them. It's a little cold against Tooru's face, but only for a moment, because then Hajime is kissing him. Tooru can feel the warmth of Hajime's lips against the thin plastic and he presses forward for a brief moment, greedy for more, before he pulls back.
The cling wrap is misted with their breath, and Hajime tears it off, balling it up and throwing it into the nearest bin.
"I'll open the shop," he says, a little breathless, even as he flashes Tooru a grin.
"Yeah," Tooru breathes, watching as Hajime turns around and walks out, still not entirely sure how this is actually his life, but incredibly grateful for it all the same.
