Bonus Round 1: AUs

SASO 2017 is over, but this round is perpetually open to new fills (no new prompts).
Please read this whole post before commenting to ensure that your team gets the most points possible. (There are changes from last year!)
RULES
- Submit prompts by commenting to this post with an alternate universe idea, along with a ship from one of our nominated fandoms. There's a comment template below for your convenience.
- Your prompt MUST include some kind of relationship. (This is not the sports anime gen olympics.) Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Izumi & Sakaeguchi). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Izumi/Sakaeguchi). Please don't say "Any pairing," either!
- An AU can be a canon divergence, e.g. "what if [character] was the Team Captain instead of the canon captain character?", or a completely different setting altogether, e.g., pop idol AU, coffee shop AU, superheroes AU, etc.
- Fill prompts by leaving a responding comment to the prompt with your newly-created work.
- Remember to follow the general bonus round rules, outlined here.

Roughly speaking, Reo is Riku, Daiki is Kairi, and Shuuhei is Sora.
***
Reo leaned back against the tree trunk as he surveyed the landscape. It was nothing he hadn't seen before; he had lived on Destiny Island his entire life, and it was small enough he now knew the topography like the back of his hand. The space he had claimed as his own was even smaller, a cross between a sandbar and a baby island that sat just offshore. It wasn't much bigger than the tree that stretched along it, but it was his, and that was what mattered.
His solitude was broken by Daiki and Shuuhei vaulting up alongside him.
"Don't you ever wonder what's out there?" Daiki asked, pointing out over the vast ocean that surrounded them on all sides.
"Let' explore it someday," Shuuhei said.
"Together?"
"Together," Shuuhei promised, stretching out his hand. Daiki put his hand on top of it, and they both looked to Reo.
"Together," he promised, adding his hand as well.
They worked on their raft for weeks, quietly gathering pieces when no one was looking. The rest of the islanders didn't share their sense of adventure, but the three of them had dreamed of this day since they were children. They were finally going to see what lay beyond their island.
They finished the last of their preparations late one afternoon, and they promised to meet at their secret cave just before dawn. That night, Reo dove into the ocean for one final swim. The water parted smoothly around him as he let his mind wander.
Lost in his own thoughts, he didn't notice the current picking up behind him.
When he finally turned back, Destiny Island was a small speck off in the distance. Afraid, he turned back, but the closer he came, the harder the current fought against him.
He swam harder than he ever had before, but he still couldn't make it back to the shore. Overhead, ominous clouds boiled over the island in an unnatural storm.
He battled the waves for as long as he could, but in the end, his strength gave out. "I'll be back someday," he promised, though he knew no one could hear him. "I'll find you again, Daiki, Shuuhei."
Then the waves carried him away, and he lost all sense of time and direction as he was tossed around by the current.
His feet hit solid ground again without warning, and he looked around in confusion. He was still in the middle of the open sea, and yet the surface underfoot was as smooth and solid as glass.
Then, even the ocean around him vanished, and he found himself standing on stained glass surrounded by nothingness. There was no one else in sight.
"Which do you choose?" a voice asked from nowhere.
"What?"
"Which do you choose?"
