Bonus Round 1: AUs

SASO 2017 is over, but this round is perpetually open to new fills (no new prompts).


This popular round is back once again! To begin this year's SASO, we encourage you to let your mind run wild with alternate ideas and settings.


Please read this whole post before commenting to ensure that your team gets the most points possible. (There are changes from last year!)

RULES

• Submit prompts by commenting to this post with an alternate universe idea, along with a ship from one of our nominated fandoms. There's a comment template below for your convenience.
  • Your prompt MUST include some kind of relationship. (This is not the sports anime gen olympics.) Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Izumi & Sakaeguchi). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Izumi/Sakaeguchi). Please don't say "Any pairing," either!
• An AU can be a canon divergence, e.g. "what if [character] was the Team Captain instead of the canon captain character?", or a completely different setting altogether, e.g., pop idol AU, coffee shop AU, superheroes AU, etc.
• Fill prompts by leaving a responding comment to the prompt with your newly-created work.
• Remember to follow the general bonus round rules, outlined here.

• 400px by 400px (art)
• 14 lines (poetry)

SCORING

These numbers apply to your team as a whole, not each individual teammate. Make as many prompts/fills as you want!

For prompts: 5 points each (maximum of 50 prompt points per team per round)

For fills:
First 4 fills by any member of your team: 20 points each
Fills 5-10: 15 points each
Fills 11-20: 5 points each
Fills 21-50: 2 points each
Fills 51+: 1 point each

All scored content must be created new for this round.

Miyuki stared at the magazine, then up at his tumblr: kissmekise. Kissmekise was the source for all things Kise Ryouta-related. Every fan on the Internet knew that. Every time that Miyuki managed to get a rare bromide or photoshoot, he diligently scanned it in to share with other Kise fans.

This was different though. This was autographed by Kise. At some point, Kise had touched it!

Carefully, Miyuki cleaned his hands with an anti-bacterial baby wipe and then dried them on a micro-fiber cloth. Only then did he let his index finger (shaking faintly with excitement) trace over the signature.

If he were signing it, he’d hold the pen in his hand like this (he mimed holding an invisible pen) and put his other hand here to hold it steady. Yes. He was touching a magazine that Kise had once touched. Second degree touching Kise’s hand!
He rolled over and buried his face in his pillow, hiding the painfully wide smile that was stretching his face.If anyone saw him smiling like this (especially Eijun!), he’d never be respected again - but how could he help it? Kise was just so amazing. He was handsome and he was kind to his fans and his basketball games were sporting legends being made.

Miyuki had played baseball with Kise once in middle school. The natural talent Kise had shown had been unbelievable.

He could trace his crush on Kise back to that one game where Kise had just wandered in and asked if he could jojn the pick-up game. Miyuki hadn’t known then that Kise would grow up to be a famous model and an idol! He’d just been impressed by Kise’s batting.

And now he was impressed by Kise’s everything.

Could he touch the signature again? Would he wear it out too fast if he did so?

While he was debating, the door slammed open and Eijun bellowed, “My tire--”

And then he fell silent. Miyuki quickly sat up and saw Eijun was staring at the computer screen, open to KISS ME KISE with its big banner of Kise in one of his more suggestive photoshoots, and then at the magazine.

“You’re a Kise fan?” Eijun asked, tone one of mingled disbelief and confusion. “You?”

Miyuki could defend himself. He could explain about why he idolized Kise so much. Or he could do what always worked.

“Tell anyone and I’ll never catch for you again,” he threatened. Eijun went satisfyingly pale.

Also, as Samy/Mels/Lira will probably inform you, I am actually a small white devil dog. Which is pretty close to a cat, I guess. Small devil dog, cat, what's the difference?

"kissmekise" is the absolute worst blog name and I am EMBARRASSED for this boy.

(fwiw this ending also feels a little abrupt to me, but not unsatisfying? I wish I could pin down why, but I also try not to give like Actual Critique on SASO stuff because we all know SASO is speed over editing.)

Originally it was less embarrassing (like eksokise or something) but then I decided no, if he's running a thirsty fanblog, he is going to do it ALL THE WAY. I nearly added something about an RP blog called fuckboykise, just because I was delighted by that name, but quick research into BTS fandom seemed to indicate they worship rather than thirst in quite that style.

Thirsty Miyuki is the best. He was getting ready to do terrible things with the hand that had touched the magazine that Kise had touched and then BOOM. Deus ex Eijun.

Probably because I have no clue how to write Eijun. But I have even less clue how to write anyone else from DNA except Miyuki so I focused primarily on Miyuki's thirst since THAT, I could definitely write, and then kicked in the last bit of the prompt as the punchline.
