Bonus Round 3: FSTs
Please read this whole post before commenting to ensure that your team gets the most points possible.
RULES
- Submit prompts in the form of a short playlist (1-6 songs) and a ship from any of our nominated fandoms. Submit only the track listing and a link to where they can be listened to; the idea is for others to interpret what you present. You may also link to lyrics if you would like.
- Your prompt MUST include some kind of relationship. Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Lilia & Sara). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Lilia/Sara). Please don't say "Any pairing," either.
- Create content based on the playlists of others! Fill prompts by leaving a responding comment to the prompt with your newly-created work.
- Fills may be in any form you choose (except for another FST of course) as long as they are inspired by/fit the mood of the soundtrack they are filling for.

That is a real interesting mix of songs, friend! Went with future fic because wow do I love the first song but feel awkward about applying to baby teenage Mihashi in all his innocence. Warnings for (co?)dependency, uneven power balance in a relationship but nothing really bad.

“This is my pitcher,” Abe says unnecessarily. Everyone in the room knows who Mishahi is (everyone in the room knows who Mihashi belongs to).
Mihashi smiles at them, shy and awkward, pressing against Abe’s side like a scared kid at his first party. He’s all big brown eyes and sandy blonde-brown hair, sunbleached at the tips where his cap doesn’t cover it.
Cute. Innocent. And most important, in this crowd, protected.
Abe’s got his arm around Mihashi’s shoulder in what would be a casual gesture between friends and teammates if it weren’t for the narrow eyes with which Abe’s surveying the crowd. He’ll stare down anyone who meets his eyes, pull Mihashi closer still until Mihashi’s practically nestled into his side.
Mihashi’s never been good with the media. He stumbles through interviews, cap off and his fingers plucking at the brim. When they want him to pose for photos, he blushes so brightly that he looks like he’s sunburnt. The quotes the reporters get from Mihashi are all but unusable, Mihashi sometimes stammering and petering off mid-sentence if the attitude of the reporters comes off as too aggressive.
The best revenge is a life well lived, Abe often hears, but sometimes he feels like their status as professional baseball players isn’t enough revenge for the damage Mihash’s teammates did to him during his formative years. To be entirely fair, his timidity is possibly partly the fault of the reporters that swarmed Mihashi when he’d gone out a convenience store alone, but Abe’s already professional enough to ignore them. They’re part of the hazards of being a pro baseball player along with injury and burnout. Having your own teammates break you isn’t a standard risk.
“Welcome, welcome, Mihashi-san,” one of the ladies says brightly. “It’s so nice to finally meet you.”
She bows to him and after a second, Mihashi detaches enough from Abe to bow in return. He gives her a timid smile and then glances sidelong at Abe for approval.
Abe gives a little nod. He knows the hostess. She’s a fan of their team, not too pushy and far too discreet to gossip to the press even though she’ll be sure to tell all her friends about this. Of all the high rollers and VIPS at the celebration party, she’s one of the safest to talk to - besides their own teammates, of course.
“Hi,” Mihashi says quietly and Abe ticks off a box on his mental checklist. Organizing Mihashi’s life for him might exhaust another person but when it comes right down to it, Abe enjoys having Mihashi trust him so much.
They’re out of high school now but Mihashi’s still his in every way that matters.
