Bonus Round 3: FSTs

SASO 2017 is over, but this round is perpetually open to new fills (no new prompts).

Profess your love for your favorite ships with the power of song! In this round, we ask you to create fan soundtracks and use them as inspiration for new fanwork.

Please read this whole post before commenting to ensure that your team gets the most points possible.

RULES

• Submit prompts in the form of a short playlist (1-6 songs) and a ship from any of our nominated fandoms. Submit only the track listing and a link to where they can be listened to; the idea is for others to interpret what you present. You may also link to lyrics if you would like.
• Your prompt MUST include some kind of relationship. Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Lilia & Sara). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Lilia/Sara). Please don't say "Any pairing," either.
• Create content based on the playlists of others! Fill prompts by leaving a responding comment to the prompt with your newly-created work.
• Fills may be in any form you choose (except for another FST of course) as long as they are inspired by/fit the mood of the soundtrack they are filling for.
• Remember to follow the general bonus round rules, outlined here.

SCORING

These numbers apply to your team as a whole, not each individual teammate. Make as many prompts/fills as you want!

For prompts: 5 points each (maximum of 50 prompt points per team per round)

For fills:
First 4 fills by any member of your team: 20 points each
Fills 5-10: 15 points each
Fills 11-20: 5 points each
Fills 21-50: 2 points each
Fills 51+: 1 point each

All scored content must be created new for this round.

I was not expecting four rap songs so I had the biggest grin imaging tiny Hinata swaggering around all blinged out and listening to those songs. Anyway, yeah, this is definitely NSFW but it’s also just masturbation and maybe some creepy stalker behavior. But not as bad as the stuff I usually write anyway!

Basically just take all the dedication Hinata applies to volleyball and imagine it’s used for love. Mild sexual content.

By now, Hinata’s obtained every record there is of the Little Giant’s games. There are forumboards specifically meant for parents to be able to swap their own films of the games and Hinata has signed up for every single one. They’re meant to let parents get records of highlight plays from different angles or get the films for days they couldn’t attend. Hinata isn’t a parent and doesn’t even pretend to be one. He’s honest about being a boy inspired by the Little Giant to start playing volleyball and is rewarded by a wealth of videos.


Hinata learnt video editing just to be able to isolate the clips of the Little Giant and string them together. He knows the boy’s real name, of course, but he likes thinking of him as the Little Giant better. It sounds like a superhero name and to Hinata, at least, the Little Giant is a hero.

He practices volleyball in the school’s empty gymnasium and at home, he alternates homework and video editing until he has a glorious seventy-three minutes of pure Little Giant footage. It covers shots of him running, shots of him jumping and (Hinata’s personal favorite) shots of the Little Giant at the net, spiking downwards with blazing eyes.

It’s the eyes that get to him every time. He watches in slow-motion, going through the video frame-by-frame. The fractional widening of the Little Giant’s mouth, lips soft and tempting, have nothing on the way that those eyes burn. Bridges and cities alike are consumed by flame; there is nothing left of his opponents but ashes and despair.

Desire is a thickness in Hinata’s mouth, his tongue too swollen to fit behind his teeth. He leans back, eyes transfixed on the laptop screen, and runs his hands over his own knees, feeling the kneepads there.

They’re the same brand the Little Giant wore. So are the shoes, though the red trim had gone out of production so Hinata was forced to wear the black.

Like this, Hinata can almost imagine it’s his idol he’s touching. He drags his fingertips over the textured, flexible cloth of the kneepads, up over the etched lines of muscled thighs. The breezy hem of the volleyball shorts caress the back of his knuckles as he lets his fingers creep higher.


On the screen, the Little Giant’s eyes look straight at the camera (at Hinata) and Hinata’s breath catches. He is transfixed and transformed by the magnetic pull of his own need, tugged forwards as surely as if there were a hook in his heart.

Hinata wants him and he wants to be him and when he jumps to his highest peak on the volleyball court, Hinata wonders if he has surpassed his idol yet.

(Alone, in his room, Hinata wonders if there is even a chance that they will ever meet.)

i did try to think of non-hip hop/rap tracks for this, but the specific dynamic is just way more suited to this genre for me?? (btw, while all the artists on this have dabbled in rap, none of these are rap songs? like hip hop, sure but bad religion/frank ocean is specifically r&b and santigold is more cross-over.....i understand this isn't as big a distinction outside western coverage of the genre though, so sorry for the digression. just wanted to clear that up!!)

ANYWAY, i'm glad this still worked for you!!!! detox is on this mix, so sexual content and obssessive vibes aren't a surprise for me! and both detox and bad religion mention being on your knees, so y'know.....

i love that honesty is the actual best policy here, i somehow doubt hinata would be able to pull off the extended charade of being a volley parent too

lol at hinata learning video editing though, like yes, those are the lengths one would typically go to to create your own specialised spank bank and BY GOD HE DID IT. (i know the little giant thing is because of canon not actually naming him, but your work around is really in character too!)

that entire last bit has me hissing, because you can tell hinata really REALLY wants this!!! so creepy! so good! now i hope they actually meet in canon so that there's more material to work with , but for now, the possibilities!!! are!!! endless!!!!!
