Bonus Round 3: FSTs

FSTs

SASO 2017 is over, but this round is perpetually open to new fills (no new prompts).

Profess your love for your favorite ships with the power of song! In this round, we ask you to create fan soundtracks and use them as inspiration for new fanwork.

Please read this whole post before commenting to ensure that your team gets the most points possible.

RULES
  • Submit prompts in the form of a short playlist (1-6 songs) and a ship from any of our nominated fandoms. Submit only the track listing and a link to where they can be listened to; the idea is for others to interpret what you present. You may also link to lyrics if you would like.
  • Your prompt MUST include some kind of relationship. Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Lilia & Sara). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Lilia/Sara). Please don't say "Any pairing," either.
  • Create content based on the playlists of others! Fill prompts by leaving a responding comment to the prompt with your newly-created work.
  • Fills may be in any form you choose (except for another FST of course) as long as they are inspired by/fit the mood of the soundtrack they are filling for.
  • Remember to follow the general bonus round rules, outlined here.
  • Here is a prompt/fill index for your convenience.

If you see anyone breaking the code of conduct (e.g., causing drama, being rude) anywhere (not just DW), please contact the mods immediately.

SCORING
These numbers apply to your team as a whole, not each individual teammate. Make as many prompts/fills as you want!

For prompts: 5 points each (maximum of 50 prompt points per team per round)

For fills:
First 4 fills by any member of your team: 20 points each
Fills 5-10: 15 points each
Fills 11-20: 5 points each
Fills 21-50: 2 points each
Fills 51+: 1 point each

All scored content must be created new for this round.

Etc.
If you're hunting through the prompts looking for what to fill, a good trick is to view top-level comments only (see the line of links below this post).

Have a question? Check The FAQ first. If you still need help, feel free to contact the mods. Happy fanworking!

gosh, you really have to listen to all three songs on these multi-song prompts, because. gosh. I don’t think I ever heard “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” and felt like crying.

***

how clever of you to take the opportunity
to wrap yourself around my fingers closer than you ever could before
and keep yourself here
cool and calm
but the quiet, tsukki,
I could do without

my uncle told me
he only goes to visit auntie's grave for his own tombstone
which stands next to hers, and to make sure that the weeds
haven't grown too much, that the plot is well-maintained;
he never talks to her there.
he says it's because he knows she isn't there.
she's with him, instead.
I don’t know when he does talk to her.
I never see him mumble in the quiet moments,
but he also never seems lonely.
this, I think I can learn.

and I know what you said about the stars,
and how light from stars that are long dead
is just reaching us now,
but that means something different to me—
some of those stars are planets reflecting the sun
some of those stars are still burning
and the rest—
somewhere in the universe that light is still traveling.
that light is alive

everyone wants to fill up the spaces you left behind for me, tsukki,
but
you were just so tall

when you were in the hospital
when we were trying to save you
you knew
so you started telling me about dead stars
and the dinosaurs
and electrons and quarks and how energy doesn’t disappear
I know I got impatient
feeling some kind of tick winding down
but you kept repeating what you needed me to know
and I understand why nothing felt different
after I got your mother’s call

here’s when I knew:
the morning of my job interview
and I had looked everywhere but the keys were still missing
and I had gotten to that desperate place
where you start bargaining with ancestors and demigods and fate,
swearing virtue and firstborns just to get what you need,
and I’d done something or promised something
stupid, unreasonable, my voice catching frantic in my throat,
and then — I swear, I would swear it again,
shut up, tadashi
the jingle of metal
right in the middle of the sheets, where they weren’t just before,
right there; tossed, right there,
and cool wind on the back of my neck with both windows closed.

remember how I worried there was nothing when we die?
oh, tsukki,
what a joy to be wrong

AAHHHHHH!!!! Why would you do this to my heart?????? (I mean... I guess I kind of asked for it...)

I seriously didn't think that this prompt would be filled, because of the eclectic mix of songs, that I feel aren't that popular (and two of which are quite old), so to see it get filled is amazing!

This poem was pulling at my heartstrings... like ughhhhhhhh... the feelings. It was really wonderful, I especially love the fifth and sixth stanzas. They're just wonderfully composed and I love the small details of their conversations and relationship.

Thank you so much for the fill!!!
