Bonus Round 3: FSTs

FSTs

SASO 2017 is over, but this round is perpetually open to new fills (no new prompts).

Profess your love for your favorite ships with the power of song! In this round, we ask you to create fan soundtracks and use them as inspiration for new fanwork.

Please read this whole post before commenting to ensure that your team gets the most points possible.

RULES
  • Submit prompts in the form of a short playlist (1-6 songs) and a ship from any of our nominated fandoms. Submit only the track listing and a link to where they can be listened to; the idea is for others to interpret what you present. You may also link to lyrics if you would like.
  • Your prompt MUST include some kind of relationship. Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Lilia & Sara). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Lilia/Sara). Please don't say "Any pairing," either.
  • Create content based on the playlists of others! Fill prompts by leaving a responding comment to the prompt with your newly-created work.
  • Fills may be in any form you choose (except for another FST of course) as long as they are inspired by/fit the mood of the soundtrack they are filling for.
  • Remember to follow the general bonus round rules, outlined here.
  • Here is a prompt/fill index for your convenience.

If you see anyone breaking the code of conduct (e.g., causing drama, being rude) anywhere (not just DW), please contact the mods immediately.

SCORING
These numbers apply to your team as a whole, not each individual teammate. Make as many prompts/fills as you want!

For prompts: 5 points each (maximum of 50 prompt points per team per round)

For fills:
First 4 fills by any member of your team: 20 points each
Fills 5-10: 15 points each
Fills 11-20: 5 points each
Fills 21-50: 2 points each
Fills 51+: 1 point each

All scored content must be created new for this round.

Etc.
If you're hunting through the prompts looking for what to fill, a good trick is to view top-level comments only (see the line of links below this post).

FILL: TEAM PRINCE OF TENNIS, T

Ship: Oikawa/Kageyama
Fandom: Haikyuu

Word Count: 659 words

I feel like you might’ve wanted something more sexual? ^^;; I hope you like this anyway. Featuring demon king!Oikawa in a demon world AU because I’ve never actually read/seen/played FHQ and Google did not provide me with summaries but I know Oikawa is a demon king there so I just ran with that.

***

The demons have a somewhat unusual system for passing down the crown. New kings are not born but chosen, marked by prophecy to take the throne.

Oikawa has ruled for a long, long time and still he does not expect it when the demons come to him with news of a successor.

At first, he thinks like every other king, that he should kill the contendor for his throne. After all, who really knows if there even is such a thing as prophecy? The prophets could simply be making it up by choosing a random imp whenever they think the demon king is due to be replaced. As long as he makes it look like an accident, nobody can accuse him ot doing a power grab for the throne.

Besides, they're demons. Only a fool would expect them to play fair anyway.

To his dismay, however, he finds that the newcomer is no imp but already a fully grown demon. Tch. Oikawa asks around and finds that the demon is known for his arrogance. He's already being referred to as the King (a fact which only further incenses Oikawa, do they really think he has already abdicated the throne?) and is known for both his arrogance and his genius.

Further inquiries clarify that Tobio is only a genius at spellcasting and battle. While he is a tactical genius, he has no knowledge of how to rule and Oikawa will be expected to impart that to him.

He considers, briefly but seriously, deliberately sabotaging Tobio's future regime by giving him bad advice. The alliances of Hell are complicated and its denizens are ambitious. Whenever there is a transfer of power, multiple demons take advantage of the period of transition to try to jockey for a higher standing or fight their way up the ranks. All Oikawa would need to do would be to tell Tobio to trust the wrong demon and Tobio would die as surely as if Oikawa ran him through.

Ah, but then the legends would focus more on Tobio, the Fallen King, than on the Grand King Oikawa who preceded him. No. It's better for his own reputation, his own story, if Tobio is a competent but not noteworthy king.

Fine then. Oikawa will teach Tobio properly. He will do his duty as the king of the demons.

(But when the time comes for the duel of succession, for Tobio to fight and kill him to win the throne, Oikawa will do his very best to kill Tobio instead. The Grand King will
