Bonus Round 3: FSTs

Please read this whole post before commenting to ensure that your team gets the most points possible.
RULES
- Submit prompts in the form of a short playlist (1-6 songs) and a ship from any of our nominated fandoms. Submit only the track listing and a link to where they can be listened to; the idea is for others to interpret what you present. You may also link to lyrics if you would like.
- Your prompt MUST include some kind of relationship. Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Lilia & Sara). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Lilia/Sara). Please don't say "Any pairing," either.
- Create content based on the playlists of others! Fill prompts by leaving a responding comment to the prompt with your newly-created work.
- Fills may be in any form you choose (except for another FST of course) as long as they are inspired by/fit the mood of the soundtrack they are filling for.
- Remember to follow the general bonus round rules, outlined here.

So you know how the little mermaid dies if she can’t make the prince love her and the lyrics go “Here in the dark/these final hours/I will lay down my heart”? Yeaaaaaaah.
***
Kise places his arm over Aomine's chest and listens to the thud of his heart beating. It's so strange to think that this is how humans are built; their hearts thud as the blood swishes in and out, expanding and contracting, and it's that which people hear instead of the life-affirming blood moving in to pick up oxygen and moving out when they are bloated with it.
Humans are an odd species, so proud of their opposable thumbs and so genuinely convinced that they are the most intelligent species on the planet. Reason has replaced reality, humans blinding themselves to the truths that they can no longer accept, and Kise's kin have been relegated to legends and fairy tales.
Of Kise's kind, however, there has been no mention. The stories all speak of fairy wives and selkies who return to the sea, who are trapped only by the theft of their garments.
There is no story that speaks of the theft of a heart - except one.
The little mermaid is heartsick for a human man so she trades her voice for legs with the promise of those legs becoming permanent should he love her. The Disney movie makes the prince love her back but in the original tale, there was no such mercy.
The original tale mirrors the truth of Kise's life far better, except that even there, she was given a final chance to save herself. Her sisters brought her shining knife with the promise she could live if she carved out the prince's heart.
Kise has no knife and even if he did, he would make the same choice the little mermaid did.
He loves Aomine. That Aomine does not love him back hurts, but he will not kill Aomine for him. He is the one who made the choice to come onto the land. He is the one who pursued Aomine shamelessly from the first moment they officially met.
He is the one who loves Aomine and he is the one who will die for it.
The clock on the bedside shows green neon numbers that Kise keeps looking back. It would be kinder to himself to sleep, perhaps, so that when death came, it would take him as he slumbered innocently next to his lover but this is his last night of life. He will spend it staring at Aomine instead, curled around him.
This is fleeting happiness is what he has traded for the potentiality of hundreds of years.
He wishes he could have more but he always knew that Aomine would never come to love him within three days.
He got what he was promised (three days of humanity) and he thinks that it is a good bargain he has made.
*
(Dawn comes and Kise does not die. It takes him far too long to realize that love need not be spoken of in order to be exist.)
