Bonus Round 4: Quotes

SASO 2017 is over, but this round is perpetually open to new fills (no new prompts).

An oldie but a goodie—in this round, we draw inspiration from famous words said by other people.

Please read this whole post before commenting to ensure that your team gets the most points possible.

RULES

• Submit prompts by commenting to this post with a quote attributed to a specific person or character, along with any ship/ot3/etc. from one of our nominated fandoms.
  • Example: "That which does not kill us makes us stronger." -Friedrich Nietzsche
  • The quote can come from almost anything—famous people, poetry, songs, books, movies, etc.— but please don't quote personal conversations you've had or overheard.
  • Your prompt MUST include some kind of relationship. Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Natsuo & Yuzuko). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Natsuo/Yuzuko). Please don't say "Any pairing," either!
• Fill prompts by replying to the prompt with your quote-inspired fanwork.

SCORING

These numbers apply to your team as a whole, not each individual teammate. Make as many prompts/fills as you want!

For prompts: 5 points each (maximum of 50 prompt points per team per round)

For fills:
First 4 fills by any member of your team: 20 points each
Fills 5-10: 15 points each
Fills 11-20: 5 points each
Fills 21-50: 2 points each
Fills 51+: 1 point each

All scored content must be created new for this round.

*shrieks* MY FUCKING HEART OH MY GOD WHY DID I NOT THINK ABOUT HOW MUCH THIS WOULD HURT ME?!

This just. God. Ow. It's gutting me. I love how you positioned this, all of Onoda's body exposed and looking so small compared to how Midousuji is folded over the coffin. Midousuji looks even more oversized and inhuman compared to Onoda looking so small and pure.

BUT MIDOUSUJI'S KISS FAILING IS KILLING ME. MIDOUSUJI AS THE PRINCE, TRYING TO BE THE PRINCE WHEN EVERYONE THINKS HE'S A MONSTER, AND HAVING HIS KISS FAIL and thinking it's because he really is a monster and shouldn't have tried otherwise...

My whole heart just hurts so much.

I love their expressions too, the way that Onoda's lips look like they're maybe slightly parted and how long and lush his eyelashes are! Midousuji not crying works really well for him because he looks WRECKED but it's not overly dramatic. It's like he just lost all hope.

The fact that Midousuji's hand is over the glass over Onoda's is just. Ow. Why. WHY. Also the coffin being filled with roses and carnations but Midousuji bringing him a sunflower. And the coloring is SO GOOD as always! I adore how you had the blue gathering in at th edges of the picture and the side of the coffin, and how Midousuji's suit stands out so well against the green and yellow. And Onoda having all those warm, lively colors despite being dead. And how Onoda's hair is feathered but Midosuji's is sleeked down.

Just. Man. There is an entire story in this piece but it's a tragedy, that's clear at first glance and WOW this is amazing. Thank you so much!
