SASO 2017 is over, but this round is perpetually open to new fills (no new prompts).

An oldie but a goodie—in this round, we draw inspiration from famous words said by other people.

Please read this whole post before commenting to ensure that your team gets the most points possible.

RULES

• Submit prompts by commenting to this post with a quote attributed to a specific person or character, along with any ship/ot3/etc. from one of our nominated fandoms.
  • Example: "That which does not kill us makes us stronger." -Friedrich Nietzsche
  • The quote can come from almost anything—famous people, poetry, songs, books, movies, etc.— but please don't quote personal conversations you've had or overheard.
  • Your prompt MUST include some kind of relationship. Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Natsuo & Yuzuko). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Natsuo/Yuzuko). Please don't say "Any pairing," either!

SCORING

These numbers apply to your team as a whole, not each individual teammate. Make as many prompts/fills as you want!

For prompts: 5 points each (maximum of 50 prompt points per team per round)

For fills:
First 4 fills by any member of your team: 20 points each
Fills 5-10: 15 points each
Fills 11-20: 5 points each
Fills 21-50: 2 points each
Fills 51+: 1 point each

All scored content must be created new for this round.

Blackmail, stalking, deliberate ruining of lives! An AU of the Political AU, I guess. This is getting ridic.

It's Imayoshi's fault. Hanamiya will insist on that until the day he dies. They're lying on Imayoshi's bed, sticky-replete in the heat of the summer afternoon, and the air conditioner is whirring away peacefully. It's a sweet scene.

And then Imayoshi ruins it and ruins his own life.

"So what are you going to do after you finish college?" Hanamiya asks, letting his fingertips trace slow, slick circles against Imayoshi's skin.

"Join a law firm. Work for a little. Go into politics. Marry a proper woman, have two children--"

Hanamiya's fingers still and Imayoshi's laugh, for all that it's quiet, scrapes brutally against Hanamiya's soul.

"Oh, Makoto-chan. Surely you didn't think that this would last forever? You had to know I would need to get married eventually."

"Why?" Hanamiya asked, pushing the sulkiness out of his voice through a force of will. He curved his hand so that his palm rested against Imayoshi's hipbone, his hold now possessive instead of tender.

"Because it's the only way to advance my career. I need a trophy wife and chilren to prove to the voters that I am a responsible, trustworthy person." Imayoshi smoothes his hand over Hanamiya's hair and rolls over, kissing his forehead lightly.

Where Imayoshi's lips touched, Hanamiya's skin burns as if the mark of Cain were a brand being applied.

He can see the logic in Imayoshi's reasoning but he can't see himself letting Imayoshi go.

Hanamiya starts documenting their relationship more carefully after that. He gets photos of Imayoshi during their most private moments, deleting and discarding any that show his face. What he needs is photos of Imayoshi fucking a long-haired man, or sucking cock, or cuddled up with the man. It's a pity that he can't use the photos with his face though. Hanamiya's acting skills often come in handy for roleplaying and there are several good shots of his face streaked with tears and his eyes dark with despair.

Stil, even without those, the collection he amasses is damning.

He times the release of the photos perfectly. Too late and Imayoshi might have to marry someone else to prove he isn't gay. Too early and Imayoshi won't be well-known enough for them to have any impact.

He waits until Imayoshi announces that he's going to switch from law to politics, until Imayoshi's handed in his resignation at the law firm, and then he leaks the most recent photos to the press. Imayoshi can bluster and threaten lawsuits but the firm won't rehire him and the public won't vote for him.

If he has to destroy Imayoshi's future to make Imayoshi his, so be it. Imayoshi should have known better than to plan a future that didn't include Hanamiya.

This was so sharp!

The first part felt like a gentle stab between the ribs, a moment where you should have seen the knife coming but it's still a shock when it pierces you. It felt like the start to a tragic!Hanamiya, and then the second part was a kick in the throat, a reminder of the shift from tenderness to possessiveness from the first part. What a terrifying love.

YEAH HANAMIYA IS NOT A TRAGIC HERO, he will never be the victim whom you pity. If there is something wrong with his life, he will step up and fix it, even if it means being a monster.

He'd rather be a monster than a victim. He'd rather ruin Imayoshi's life to give Imayoshi nowhere to go than ever, EVER let go of Imayoshi It's terrifying and obsessive and it's the closest that Hanamiya will ever get to love.
