Bonus Round 5: Clue

Clue

SASO 2017 is over, but this round is perpetually open to new fills (no new prompts).

Sometimes, all you need are a few little details to imagine something bigger. This round is inspired by a classic board game with a cast of colorful characters, but for SASO your only limits on "who", "where", and "with what" are what you can imagine (and the SASO fandom list, of course)!

This round closes on 5 August @ 7PM EDT. (Countdown Timer.)

Please read this whole post before commenting to ensure that your team gets the most points possible. (There are changes from last year!)

RULES
  • Submit prompts by commenting to this post with the format of a Clue mystery - "[character] in the [location] with [item]", along with any ship/ot3/etc. from one of our nominated fandoms.
    • Example: Sawamura Daichi in the teachers' lounge with the Hello Kitty! lunchbox
    • The person in your prompt MAY be a member of your ship, but is not REQUIRED to be part of your ship. They must still be a named character from a SASO-nominated fandom.
    • Your place must be a physical location, not a state of being or a state of being. However, this location is not required to be real, nor must it be from the same setting as the characters.
    • The "item" used must be a physical object that the character can hold or manipulate.
    • Unlike the board game, your prompt is NOT required to imply murder. The scenario implied can be anything at all! (As always, please tag properly!)
    • Your prompt MUST include some kind of relationship. Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Natsuo & Yuzuko). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Natsuo/Yuzuko). Please don't say "Any pairing," either!
  • Fill prompts by replying to the prompt with your Clue-inspired fanwork.
  • Remember to follow the general bonus round rules, outlined here.
  • Here is a prompt/fill index for your convenience.

For fills:
First 4 fills by any member of your team: 20 points each
Fills 5-10: 15 points each

Fills 21-50: 2 points each
Fills 51+: 1 point each

All scored content must be created new for this round.

Etc.
If you're hunting through the prompts looking for what to fill, a good trick is to view top-level comments only (see the line of links below this post).

Yachi had made a plan before going to the convention. She’d gone to the ATM, withdrawn the five hundred dollars she’d saved all year just for this, and told herself sternly that she was not going to make impulse buys. She was going to make the rounds of the Dealer’s Room first and look at everything. If she liked anything, she’d keep it in mind and see if she could find it cheaper.

THe only things she was allowed to buy on the spot were doujinshi, because it was so unlikely that any other seller would have the exact same doujinshi for sale. Everything else had to be price-matched.

And after that, she would check out the Artist’s Alley! Here too she had very specific rules. She was not allowed to buy more posters than she had room for. If she had to buy posters, A4 size was better than A3 because she could put up more posters in the same space (and also they were cheaper). Buying badges was okay but she had to really think first if she’d be comfortable having people see her wearing them on her bag. No postcards because she had nobody to write postcards to.

Most importantly, she was not allowed to be a creepy fangirl! Not even if Kawaiiyoko was there!

She peeked into the Artist’s Alley, saw the banner over Kawaiiyoko’s table and stuffed both her hands over her mouth to silence her shriek of delight. Okay. Okay, she was just going to go up to her like a normal person and maybe say something about how much she loved the yuri webcomic and maybe - maybe buy the print books? Maybe buy two of each and say the extras were for friends? Maybe ask for the artist’s signature?

She was going to faint before she ever made it there.

Kiyoko smiled slightly at the shy, shaky-legged blonde.

“Hello,” she said pleasantly, folding her hands over her notebook.

“H-hi--” The girl stammered. Kiyoko tilted her head to a side. Was something wrong? Or perhaps she just had a stutter.

“I’mahugefanofyours, Iloveyourwork, can I please buy your books?!” The girl blurted out all the words in a jumble and then bowed deeply, her cheeks flushed a deep pink.

“Ah- thank you!” An answering blush colored Kiyoko’s cheeks as she reached for the books. “Do you want the comics or the coloring books?”

“All of them!” The girl said quickly, pulling money out of her purse. “And, um, do you take commissions? Can I ask for a commission? Your art is so beautiful! I’m so sorry to bother you!”

She bowed again and missed the startled delight that lit up Kiyoko’s eyes.
