You've created so much during this event, so here's a round to celebrate each other's achievements!

This round is CLOSED as of 7PM on August 24 EDT. Late fills may be posted, but they will not receive points.

RULES

• Recommend at least three fanworks from main or bonus rounds. Your recommendations don’t have to be connected in any way, and you do not need permission to recommend a work.
• Don't rec your own work. You can recommend things created by your own team, but please spread the love to other teams too.
• Each recommendation must include at least two sentences explaining why that fanwork is awesome. Please use the format specified below.
• You may recommend as many works as you like, as long as they are posted separately in groups of at least three.

OKAY LET ME JUST CONFESS that I first saw your lines in the Miyu2 R1 entry and went !!!!!!!!!!!! WHO DID THIS AND WHY HAVE I NOT SEEN THIS STYLE IN THE BRS, so I'm really glad this round gave me an excuse to go back over what I missed in BR1 <3 I love how thick and fluffy you drew their hair in these and you have such a good grasp of anatomy!

ahaha omg same here i swear there's at least one fill i've forgotten about and i haven't done half as much as you ^.^; I couldn't keep up with BR1 while it was ongoing so I'm really glad I got the chance to come back to it and discover your beautiful poem!!

ty ty, this is one of my tiniest daiya ships probably bc i know like... maybe three other people total who like it, hahah. but yeah, i think so much about akira in college, probably a good one considering the nature of his high school, and watching mei do what he didn't manage to and my heart aches a little. i'm glad i got to write about it a little bit, and i'm glad you liked it.

TBH i feel like they're generally sort of nerve-wracking to write for the first time, even moreso than most ships (my first time around with them was suuuuuch a struggle), but once you piece out how you want to do them it's a lot easier -- and i really love what you did with them!

NOPE IT DOESN'T, and imo it's because he's not anime-handsome and doesn't have any ships that aren't rivaled by a more popular ship for the other character. But it's... Fine... I'll love Tanba enough to make up for everyone who doesn't.

I even say Tanba/Happiness is the best OTP for him, sweet hard-working baby. ;_______;

But anyway, thank you again, that's so great to hear! (cuts myself off from talking about Tanba before I just write a massive essay, whoops)

Why is this work awesome?: this is suuuuch a tiny underappreciated ship and this is such a beautiful little fic for it, i'm enamored. i love masamune's little tics, the way he is so careful not to touch furuya's hands, how he doesn't want to admit how interested or invested he is ever. i like that he's still the one to suggest exchanging numbers for all of that.

Why is this work awesome?: man this combination of characters actually never occurred to me before this year's saso and gosh they have so many things in common?? anyway, i really like this fill, the limited color palette is really lovely and lends a lot to the mood of the piece. i also like the bold, sketchy strokes vs the detail on their faces and hair, and ukai's expression in particular is super cute.

Why is this work awesome?: Futakuchi is a ghost who annoyingly haunts Yahaba's apartment. this is exactly the kind of thing i was hoping for when i made the prompt :> i love mundane magic or magical realism AUs, where the people involved are more concerned abt getting on with their lives than the seemingly out of the ordinary thing that's happening, and that's definitely present here. Yahaba and Futakuchi are both perfect, i like imagining how their weird roommate situation might work after this.

Why is this work awesome?: Kuroo lets the ghost of his childhood best friend Kenma possess his body for energy reasons. i think i had an extended Twitter discussion with a friend about the story behind this art - how long ago did Kenma die and how long have they been doing this? did Kuroo's parents worry abt him not growing out of his imaginary friend phase back when Kuroo was still too young to realize that other people probably wouldn't believe him when he talked abt Kenma? WHAT IF HE EVENTUALLY DECIDES TO LET KENMA GO BC THAT WOULD BE BETTER FOR HIM??? so it's safe to say i love... the concept... i love Kuroo's face and pose, too, arms spread out and looking so caring and a little worried, like he's not the one who's about to give his goddamn life force to a ghost.

Why is this work awesome?: Kuroo lets vampire Kenma feed on him. i love so much about this - the quiet intimacy combined with Kuroo's clear discomfort at what's happening despite having done it plenty of times before (i assume) and despite encouraging Kenma to do it; the physical descriptions of Kuroo's blood coming out of him; Kuroo being vulnerable, closing his eyes as Kenma bites him, nnngh. i like how it's a counterpoint to how these sorts of scenes typically go, which is kinda sexual, with the bitee being soooo into being bitten and swooning into the vampire's arms, i like that there was nothing romantic or particularly special about this. and then ofc both of them caring abt each other, Kuroo being giving to the point that he might hurt himself and Kenma not letting him.

Teshima's probably totally making fun but he doesn't even realize how well the hairband+sparkles look suits him. i also like the last panel a lot, Aoyagi just walking in like "there Junta is being a dumbass again" and i always like seeing Teshima happy even if it is because he's doing something silly.
