SASO 2017 is over, but this round is perpetually open to new fills (no new prompts).

An oldie but a goodie—in this round, we draw inspiration from famous words said by other people.

Please read this whole post before commenting to ensure that your team gets the most points possible.

• Submit prompts by commenting to this post with a quote attributed to a specific person or character, along with any ship/ot3/etc. from one of our nominated fandoms.

  • The quote can come from almost anything—famous people, poetry, songs, books, movies, etc.— but please don't quote personal conversations you've had or overheard.

SCORING

These numbers apply to your team as a whole, not each individual teammate. Make as many prompts/fills as you want!

For prompts: 5 points each (maximum of 50 prompt points per team per round)

For fills:
First 4 fills by any member of your team: 20 points each
Fills 5-10: 15 points each
Fills 11-20: 5 points each
Fills 21-50: 2 points each
Fills 51+: 1 point each

All scored content must be created new for this round.

it’s not as if they’re all there to be judged. toudou’s just here to win, since he’s the one blessed with the good looks, charisma, and the godlike behind of an athlete sculpted on one of god’s better, michelangelo-ish days.

“four strong people stand before me,” fuku intones. “but i only have one photograph: the photograph of this week’s challenge’s winner.” it has to be toudou, if there was any semblance of right in this universe. this week’s theme was ‘the outdoors’, and toudou is a natural beauty and therefore the perfect candidate. out of all of them (except manami, since the kid only ever showed up for shoots now and never talked to the damn camera), toudou has the best chances at being professionally beautiful. “toudou, please step forward.” shinkai makes big, sad eyes at the camera while toudou takes the slightest, genteelest step ahead. it’ll be fine for him, toudou thinks. he’s already won congeniality, and those blue eyes would take him places even without winning the show.

but toudou’s wanted to be top model since he’s been modeling, period. it’s a privilege to have made it this far, of course, but he’s been the clear favorite the whole time. it’s true. fuku nods to toudou, just once. “your photos this week were composed, poised, and fierce.” there’s no higher praise from fuku, so toudou floats on cloud nine at his brief, but delightful, comment.

“arakita, please step forward.” mood ruined, toudou tries not to gape like a fish while arakita (arakita, the scrawny, underdeveloped, foul-mouthed idiot, who never said anything nice about toudou, not even his hair) steps forward, parallel to toudou’s own body. “your photos this week were strong.”

that’s it? just strong? toudou knows how fuku likes strength in a photo, and in a model generally speaking, but arakita just looks smug and happy all at once, eyes flaring bright as a torch while toudou tries not to glare.

“what are you looking at,” arakita snarls under his breath, and fuku ignores it all, waiting for the camera to pick up their facial expressions. “nothing but a pretty face.”

well, he does have a remarkably gorgeous face, but it irritates him beyond words that toudou would have nothing but those qualities, as if he’s shallow. toudou’s face freezes into what he hopes is a calm beauty, but he’s seething on the inside as he spits, “i’m so much more than that. just you wait.”
