Bonus Round 7: Free For All

Let's finish SASO 2017 with a bang. This bonus bonus round allows any kind of prompt imaginable in any format. The sky's the limit!



SASO 2017 is over, but this round is perpetually open to new fills (no new prompts).

Please read this whole post before commenting to ensure that your team gets the most points possible.

 

RULES

• Submit prompts by commenting to this post with literally any kind of prompt, along with any ship/ot3/etc. from one of our nominated fandoms, with the following caveats:
  • Large image prompts should be thumbnailed and linked to, as explained here.
  • Fanart/fanfiction/fanwork prompts are only allowed if you created the fanwork yourself or if you have explicit permission to use it, and proof of permission must be linked to in your prompt header.
  • Quote prompts can come from almost anything, but please don't quote personal conversations you've had or overheard.
  • Reposting prompts is fine, but be respectful and keep crediting in mind. A prompt belongs to the person who posted it to this round, and who can fill it is determined by whether or not they are on that person's team.
    • If reposting a br2 (tic tac toe) prompt, please post each prompt square as its own individual comment. Posting tic tac toe boards wholesale will crash our br scorer and the bonus doesn't apply for this round, anyway.
  • Your prompt MUST include some kind of relationship. Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Akira & Hikaru). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Akira/Hikaru). Please don't say "Any pairing," either!
• Besides that, if you want to prompt something, regardless of format—even formats not previously allowed in SASO—go right ahead. If you're unsure you can ask us for clarification, but tbh just go for the gold.
• Fill prompts by replying to the prompt with a fanwork.

• 14 lines (poetry)
• 8 tracks (fanmixes)

SCORING

These numbers apply to your team as a whole, not each individual teammate. Make as many prompts/fills as you want!

For prompts: 5 points each (maximum of 50 prompt points per team per round)

For fills:
First 4 fills by any member of your team: 20 points each
Fills 5-10: 15 points each
Fills 11-20: 5 points each
Fills 21-50: 2 points each
Fills 51+: 1 point each

All scored content must be created new for this round.

Love Hime crossover. The butler being called Mage is what inspired all the names. XD

At first, Sugimoto thought that it was just a replica. Love Hime had so many fans and everyone knew that it was Onoda’s favorite show! He picked up the wallet, thumb grazing over the faux-ruby button - music burst around him, light dazzled his eyes and the next thing he knew, he was dressed in a sharp tuxedo and holding a staff that was actually a giant rose. It even smelled like a rose.

While he was sniffing the rose cautiously, the rest of the Love Hime squad burst into the clubroom.

“What’s the emergency?!” Rogue asked. With his bright red hair and daredevil grin, he was the cheekiest and most daring when it came to battle.


“You’re not the Princess!” Lancer accused. Tall and lean, shaped like his preferred weapon, Lancer was one of the Princess’ favored guards. During battle, he always stuck close to her.

“Where’s the Princess?” Knight asked, rumbling the words out in his deep baritone. His large, armored bulk was always at the forefront of any battle, charging in almost as quickly as Rogue. The two of of them had even been overheard arguing about who’d landed the first spell!

“Ranger! Go find the Princess,” the Paladin ordered. The slim Ranger, green hair adorned with red leaves and pulled up in a tight bun, was the swiftest scout in the mountain terrain. He rarely spoke, seeming awkward around the press, but he was Sugimoto’s second favorite after Lancer.

Of course, now that he knew who they all were, “...It’s me. Sugimoto.”

He nearly added that he had two years cycling experience and no years of super-heroing experience but awe made him swallow his tongue.

“And you - you’re the Love Hime Squad? The one the anime is based off?!” His voice rose until Knight clapped a hand over his mouth.

“Talk quietly,” he cautioned. “Sugimoto. Why are you using the Princess’ wallet?”

“I just found it on the floor! I thought it belonged to Onoda and -” Suddenly, Sugimoto realized who was missing from the squad and the confrontation. “...Is Onoda Love Hime?!”

It did explain why she was so flat…

“That,” the Paladin said gravely, “Is a secret you must guard with your life.”

“Don’t worry,” Rogue said cheerfully, flinging an arm around Sugimoto. “Clearly he’s one of us! He looks like a mage of some sort, doesn’t he?”

“He can protect the Princess with us,” Lancer agreed.

And so Sugimoto became a fully-fledged member of the Love Hime Light And Laughter Superhero Squad.

this is delightful! i love the descriptions of everyone and the way you combined the love hime reality with the yowapeda reality. and sugimoto being awkward and nearly admitting he is not an experienced super-hero was a really great touch.

SO NICE I love how the description makes everyone so easily recognisable, and Sugimoto having Lancer as his favourite or thinking about mentioning his cycling experience are adorable details <3 ( also that is one creative explanation of why a certain princess is so flat-chested XD )
