Let's start our summer by looking at the past—things that happened in canon, or maybe in an AU, or maybe just as wishful thinking...

This round is CLOSED as of 7PM on June 9 EDT. Late fills may be posted, but they will not receive points.

Please read this whole post before commenting to ensure that your team gets the most points possible. (There are changes from last year!)

RULES

Submit prompts by commenting to this post! You prompt should consist of one scenario beginning with the phrase "Remember when", along with any ship/ot3/etc. from our list of nominated fandoms.
- Your prompts can take the form of recalling canon facts/events ("Remember when Nozomi and Eli got parfaits after school?"), non-canon events ("Remember when Megumi and Jin met at the Tadokoro Family Reunion?"), or somewhere in-between ("Remember when Bokuto and Kenma first met?"). Headcanons and AUs are welcome!
- Your prompt MUST include some kind of relationship. (This is not the sports anime gen olympics.) Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Rei & Nagisa). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Rei/Nagisa). Please don't say "Any pairing," either!

It’s their first night sharing a bed, and Eijun has no idea what he’s supposed to do.

They’re not sleeping together, just...sleeping together. It was an opportunity that probably should have come up more than once when they were both in Seidou, but it just never did. Apparently it was easier to sneak around the dorms and have sex than it was to actually spend a night together. Who would have guess? Not Eijun, that’s for sure.

But this time, the situation is vastly different. Chris-senpai is in university now, and he has his own place. It’s a tiny 1K apartment, so the living, dining, and sleeping area are all in the same room. It’s cozy, to say the least, but it’s warm and welcoming and the minute Eijun walked in inside, he felt like he was coming home. There’s still years ahead before they can really share a place together, but he’s happy with the idea of visiting whenever he can.

Luckily, it’s a Saturday night and General has canceled practice for the following morning. So he can stay until at least morning.

Chris-senpai is lucky enough to have a bed shoved in a corner instead of a just a futon that gets rolled out every night. Normally he keeps it covered with a blanket and some pillows during the day, turning it into a makeshift couch. That’s how Eijun is used to seeing it, and it’s suddenly hitting him that this is the first time seeing it for its actual intended use.

He’s fresh out of the bath and working at one of his assignments at the desk while Chris-senpai gets ready for bed. It occurs to him that he’s welcome to sit elsewhere, but he feels too shy to move from his spot and actually take initiative. He fiddles with his pen and notebook, trying to will time to go a little faster.

Just as he’s writing the last few words of his English assignment, he feels damp arms wrap around his shoulders and Chris’ quiet voice rumble in his ears, “You spelled that word wrong, it’s ‘R-E-M-E-M-B-E-R’.The tense is wrong too. It’s supposed to be,” he continues in perfect English, “‘Mary does not remember where she put her keys.’ It would only be ‘did not remember’ if you were talking about something she did in the past.”

Eijun huffs, “We can’t all be fluent in English.”

“I’m not fluent. I can barely hold up a conversation with my grandparents when they call.” He kisses the back of his neck, “I’ll help you with this in the morning. We should get to bed before it gets too late.”

He can feel the muscles tense up in his back and shoulders, and for a second he contemplates saying that he’ll go to bed a little later. But Chris-senpai is warm and smells nice, and he wants nothing more than to fall asleep next to him for an entire night, instead of the couple of hours they would catch once in a while.

He closes up his notebook, “Yeah, sure.”

The bed is small, but there’s just barely enough room for the both of them. Chris-senpai is closest to the wall, just slightly pressed against it. He lays on his side and pats the spot next to him.

Eijun keeps a sliver of distance between them, not sure what’s exactly appropriate. He wants to move closer, wrap his arms around his senpai and maybe bury his face in his neck. There are worries though, like what if all that body heat is too hot? What if he accidentally leans too much on Chris-senpai’s arm and it falls asleep? What if one of them has to go to the bathroom? What if, what if, what if?

“Eijun…” Chris-senpai grumbles before wrapping his arm around his waist and pulling him close, “you’re over thinking. It’s going to keep us both awake if you don’t stop.” He smooshes his face into Eijun’s hair and suddenly the atmosphere feels a lot lighter.

He breathes a sigh of relief and tangles their legs together, “Please forgive me, Chris-senpai.”

“We’ve seen each other naked and been a lot closer than this, did you really think it was going to bother me that much?”

“Well this is our first time!”

“Eijun…”

“You know what I mean.”

“Well, get used to it. Now please go to sleep.”

“Will do.” He kissed his jaw, “Goodnight, Chris-senpai.”

“Goodnight, Eijun…”

It was probably the best sleep Eijun ever had.
