Bonus Round 2: Images

Please read the rules carefully before posting!
This round is CLOSED as of 7PM on June 23 EDT. Late fills may be posted, but they will not receive points.
RULES
- Submit prompts in the form of a canon screencap from one of our nominated fandoms along with a ship. Screencaps can be from the anime or manga, as well as any other kind of offshoot media, e.g. official art, drama CD covers, light novel illustrations, magazine covers, photos from stage plays, and/or caps from games.
- Doujinshi, fan-made games or any other fan-created work should not be prompted, even if you receive permission. Only prompt official, canon artwork.
- Keep your prompt concise. Don't prompt a whole manga chapter, for example.
- Your prompt MUST include some kind of relationship. Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Abe & Tajima). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Abe/Tajima). Please don't say "Any pairing," either!
- Upload the cap somewhere (imgur works well) and post here with the images themselves or a link to them. Including a text-only summary of the image is encouraged.
- Fill prompts by leaving a responding comment to the prompt with your newly-created work inspired by the cap.
- Fills can be directly connected to the cap, e.g. panel redraws or writing fic that fleshes out the moment that was capped or that fleshes out what happened directly before/after, but fills can also be more indirectly linked. As long as the work is somehow inspired by the cap, it counts.
- Fills that are too long to fit in a single comment should have the rest of the fill placed as replies to the original fill comment. The subjects of these extra comments should be something like "part 2 of X" or "continued."
- Remember to follow the general bonus round rules, outlined here.

Kiyoko wakes up one day to her third year.
She’s captain, now. The title was handed to her care like an old, tired pennant, once held in reverence. There’s a legacy to the Karasuno orange and black, they all remember what it used to mean to truly fly, and her hands ache with this new duty she knew was coming to her; the heavy weight of it in much too early mornings practicing a range of blocks with her ace, late evenings drilling clever spikes and dumps into their arsenal.
It's not enough anymore to be the quiet tower of resilience and strength setting plays. Kiyoko turns the jersey over in her hands, the underlined #1 raising its voice in her stead, much louder than she ever has.
“New recruits, Kiyoko-chan! New!”
Kiyoko quickly pulls the Karasuno jersey over her head and snaps her sports goggles in place, one final firm tug on the band for good luck, before the enthusiastic scuffle of sneakers across wood floors stops right before the locker room door. Her vice captain and ace has been hard at work since the sun had risen into the clear spring sky, cheerfully accosting new students with flyers for the volleyball club. “First years, Kiyoko-chan!”
It's hard not to smile when Yui gets like this. Kiyoko thinks she will do well, carrying the spirit of the team. She has no worries there.
But there are gaps; Kiyoko is all too aware of their steady libero who graduated last year. The team is strong on the first line, an agile offense off her lightning quick tosses, getting better each and every match, but the graduates moving on has left them with a slow, slow back row.
“Yachi Hitoka! Sorry for intruding! First year! I’m here to do my b--”
It’s like sunshine, Kiyoko thinks as she steps out onto the court, air suffused with the gold of late afternoon light. Gold on the worn wood floor that stretches so familiar under her feet, warming it even in the chilly April weather; gold bouncing off the yellow of this new girl’s hair as she trips across the gym door threshold and almost falls right into Kiyoko standing there.
Almost.
The new girl’s feet slide under her just in time, a fall too precise to just be lucky chance; snaps her legs clever and quick over the crooked door sill and rights herself just as she’s about to collide with Kiyoko. The air between them is suddenly so small, thin and warm like sharing a breath over and over again.
“I’m so sorry! I’m so sorry! I didn’t see the-- the thing-- I’m sorry!!”
There’s a star clipped into the wayward ponytail of her yellow hair and telltale bandaids plastered in criss-cross over her elbows and arms, lingering purple bruises like badges of honour.
“You’re a libero, aren’t you.”
Kiyoko smiles a small smile, easy for once, and she watches as Yachi’s eyes grow wide, cheeks flushing pink as if she’s thinking, How did she know? Can she read my mind?? Third years are so amazing, they can do anything. Wait, can she read it right now?? Oh no, oh no, she’s going to find out that I think she’s beautif--
“I’m Shimizu Kiyoko, captain of the Karasuno volleyball team. Welcome. We’re happy to have you.”
And spring suddenly feels like spring again for Kiyoko, as she laughs gently at Yachi tripping over another greeting; it’s charming, like hope new and gently blossoming like sakura on the green, under the bright pull of the sun.

I really like your weather imagery and how Spring-like it feels :)) 'It’s like sunshine, Kiyoko thinks as she steps out onto the court, air suffused with the gold of late afternoon light. Gold on the worn wood floor that stretches so familiar under her feet, warming it even in the chilly April weather; gold bouncing off the yellow of this new girl’s hair as she trips across the gym door threshold and almost falls right into Kiyoko standing there.' This is so bright and beautiful :) Hope and new beginnings indeed!!
