Bonus Round 2: Images

Back by popular demand, this round uses official canon artwork as fodder for speculation and extrapolation.
Please read the rules carefully before posting!

This round is CLOSED as of 7PM on June 23 EDT. Late fills may be posted, but they will not receive points.

RULES

• Submit prompts in the form of a canon screencap from one of our nominated fandoms along with a ship. Screencaps can be from the anime or manga, as well as any other kind of offshoot media, e.g. official art, drama CD covers, light novel illustrations, magazine covers, photos from stage plays, and/or caps from games.
  • Doujinshi, fan-made games or any other fan-created work should not be prompted, even if you receive permission. Only prompt official, canon artwork.
  • Keep your prompt concise. Don't prompt a whole manga chapter, for example.
  • Your prompt MUST include some kind of relationship. Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Abe & Tajima). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Abe/Tajima). Please don't say "Any pairing," either!
  • Upload the cap somewhere (imgur works well) and post here with the images themselves or a link to them. Including a text-only summary of the image is encouraged.
• Fill prompts by leaving a responding comment to the prompt with your newly-created work inspired by the cap.
  • Fills can be directly connected to the cap, e.g. panel redraws or writing fic that fleshes out the moment that was capped or that fleshes out what happened directly before/after, but fills can also be more indirectly linked. As long as the work is somehow inspired by the cap, it counts.
  • Fills that are too long to fit in a single comment should have the rest of the fill placed as replies to the original fill comment. The subjects of these extra comments should be something like "part 2 of X" or "continued."

Required Work Minimums:

• 400 words (prose)
• 400px by 400px (art)
• 14 lines (poetry)

There is no max work cap.

SCORING

These numbers apply to your team as a whole, not each individual teammate. Make as many prompts/fills as you want!

For prompts: 5 points each (maximum of 50 prompt points per team per round)

For fills:

First 3 fills by any member of your team: 20 points each
Fills 4-10: 10 points each
Fills 11-20: 5 points each
Fills 21+: 2 points each

All scored content must be created new for this round.

Yaku/Lev, T, references to sex, 510 words, T

The first time they try to have sex, Lev has a panic attack before Yaku's briefs are even off. By the time Lev finishes heaving into the potted plant in the corner of Yaku's room, the mood is officially ruined.


"Are you okay?" Yaku asks, half concerned and half annoyed as he returns from the bathroom with a warm towel.


Lev makes a flailing motion with his hands and sighs when Yaku steps forward to wipe at his face. "Sorry I ruined us, Yaku-san," Lev mumbles, then yelps when Yaku pulls on his cheeks.


"You didn't ruin us, although you did ruin my plant." Yaku pushes all thoughts of cleaning up the disaster zone to the back of his mind. "Are you not feeling well? We should go to the hospital if you're sick."


Lev mumbles something under his breath.


Yaku frowns. "What?"


Lev repeats something a decibel louder.


"Speak up," Yaku says.


"I WAS NERVOUS!" Lev shouts, then shrinks in on himself. "It's kinda... um.. Scary? Haha. Sorry I'm so uncool, Yaku-san. I'm not good enough to be the ace and I'm not good enough to be your boyfriend." He crouches down to pick up his discarded clothes, then blinks when he finds that Yaku is already wearing his hoodie. "Just let me hate myself and lea-"


Yaku sighs and pulls at one of Lev's ridiculously long arms. "Stop right there."


Lev makes a tortured noise.


"It's okay to be nervous," Yaku says as he pulls Lev down to sit next to him. "Sex is weird, I know. We don't need to do anything unless you're ready."


"I was ready," Lev argues, but deflates when Yaku pushes Lev's cheeks until he's looking at the puke plant.


Yaku almost wants to laugh. "You clearly were not."


"Well, I thought it'd be like volleyball? I'll just get on the court and make it happen?"


"Sex is not like volleyball." Yaku manages to pinch a small patch of skin on Lev's arm, making him mewl in surprise. "Who even told you that? Actually, don't answer that question. Anyways, we don't need to do anything we're not comfortable with. All athletes should know their limits."


"There are no limits for me!" Lev has the audacity to say. Still, he pulls his arm back just in case. "I just want this to be real, Yaku-san."


Yaku levels him an unimpressed look. "I am real, or did you think you were dating a ghost?" When Lev gives him an over eager pout, Yaku sighs. "Our relationship isn't defined by what we do in bed. Sex is such an afterthought for me. As long as we play volleyball together, I'm happy."


"Then what happens after you graduate?"


"Well." Yaku considers this. "How about you focus on what makes you comfortable for now, and we'll think about sex after we win nationals?"


"Okay," Lev says, much like an appeased cat. "Can we still cuddle?"

Yaku grins. "Yeah. After you clean up that mess."
