Bonus Round 3: Gift Tags

Bonus Round 3: Gift Tags

Feeling generous? In this round, you get to give creative gifts as prompts.

This round is CLOSED as of 7PM on July 7 EDT. Late fills may be posted, but they will not receive points.

RULES
  • Submit prompts as a gift tag in the format below. You can specify the size and a characteristic of the gift, who the sender is, who the recipient is, and a one or two sentence note from the sender to the recipient. Descriptions of the package and the included note don’t have to be explicit, see below.
    • Package: medium sized cube, rattles
      From: Kageyama Tobio
      To: Hinata Shouyou
Note: These will help you get better.
    • Envelope: manila, 12''x17'', very thick and heavy
      From: Tezuka Kunimitsu
      To: Kinjou Shingo
Note: Enclosed - Play without regrets!
  • Your prompt MUST include a relationship. Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Riko & Momoi). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Riko/Momoi). Please don't say "Any pairing," either.
  • Fill prompts by leaving a responding comment to the prompt with your newly-created work. Fillers can get creative with how to interpret the prompt: your fill can be about the character receiving the gift, one or both characters using the gift, what prompted the sender to send the gift—the physical gift itself can even be excluded from your fill. What’s important is that the gift tag is clearly the inspiration for your fill.
  • Remember to follow the general bonus round rules, outlined here.

Bonus round shenanigans all happen in the comments below. Brand-new works only, please.

Required Work Minimums:
  • 400 words (prose)

PROMPT: TEAM [YOUR SHIP]
  • Replace [YOUR SHIP] with the name of the team you belong to, including Grandstand or Sports Teams
  • Place the prompt's relationship in the first bolded line of the comment. Including the canon isn't required, but it's nice.
  • Below that, place applicable major content tags (when applicable; otherwise write "no tags" or "none")
  • Visual example
FILL: TEAM [YOUR SHIP], [RATING]
  • Replace [YOUR SHIP] with the name of the team you belong to

Posts not using this format will be understood to be unofficial discussion posts, regardless of what they contain. They, like all comments in this community, are subject to the code of conduct.

SCORING
These numbers apply to your team as a whole, not each individual teammate. Make as many prompts/fills as you want!

For prompts: 5 points each (maximum of 50 prompt points per team per round)

For fills:

First 3 fills by any member of your team: 20 points each
Fills 4-10: 10 points each
Fills 11-20: 5 points each
Fills 21+: 2 points each

All scored content must be created new for this round.

Etc.
If you're hunting through the prompts looking for what to fill, a good trick is to view top-level comments only.

Have a question? Check The FAQ first. If you still need help, feel free to contact the mods. Happy fanworking!

WAKATOSHI YOU DOOF ajkfsghlkd;alsjf,djkxnks

oh my gosh you said you were going to do it AND YOU DID. YOU DID SO GOOD. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!

I can't believe this - it's such an amazing fill and I love it so much! I adore the casual note on grid paper - it's such a nice way to start and it just looks really cute <3 The ~ on the end of Wakatoshi I'M SO -- WHY ARE THEY SO ---

I love your art style, too - Your Ushijima looks so cute ♥____♥ I adore how you drew his fringe and the positioning of his head as he reads idk it's just the loveliest thing and I just...HIS NECK IS SO ELEGANT I CAN'T. I really really love the style of his eyelids and his low nose - his 'ooh hmm' expression as he flicks through is the most wonderful thing (also I laughed so hard at him flicking through the manga - the way he holds it, and his overall posture ajsdhjal SUCH A GOOD PANEL)

AND THEN HIS FACE AS HE SLAMS IT SHUT. This was the perfect progression - I love how you organised this whole comic so much! ALSO YOU DRAW REALLY PRETTY JAWLINES I LOVE THEM.

....AND WHERE DO I EVEN START WITH TENDOU SATORI I NEED HELP BECAUSE HE'S SO CUTE HERE I CANNOT DEAL. His humming...HIS FACE WHILE HE HUMS. I love how you drew him with his high eyebrows and the style of his eyes - HIS O_O"""" FACE WHEN USHIJIMA COMES IN HE'S THE CUTEST asjdklk - and his :1 mouth it's all so pretty and the shading around his eyes looks really good!! I like the contrast with Ushijima's more...pretty(?) eyes :)

Speaking of shading I really love how you did their hair? How it's like, a block, but softened with the strands?? I'm sorry my descriptions are terrible but I love how you've shaded this it's really lovely <333

The panel where Ushijima is like 'what are you doing where are my ads' I AM GONE HELP ME HE IS TOO MUCH. The smooth skin and like 'without their help i would be...' jaskfhlaks USHIJIMA he totally like, watches those late night ads and nods along in agreement. Gets suckered into buying overpriced gadgets while Tendou is like LOOK AT THE FINE PRINT YOU DOOF --

BUT ALSO their hands on each other's shoulders HOW DID YOU KNOW THIS WAS SOMETHING I WOULD BE INTO ahahhahahajkj hjksla aiwjli ;sldla ksjdi

//I NEED TO TAKE A MINUTE

...that last panel though I can totally imagine Tendou's expression and his tone of voice there, and Ushijima is just all ?? AHUKLJSLS THEIR POSES ARE SO GOOD TENDOU IS SO CUTE IN A HOODIE THE SPEED LINES ADD SUCH A GOOD EFFECT

Poor long-suffering Satori who just wants somebody to talk Jump wit h anuklljwhednsfjkealsfh

Thank you so much for filling this! I was totally all 'don't get your hopes too high it's just an expression of interest everyone is busy' AND THEN I SAW THE NOTIF AND IT WAS FOR THIS INCREDIBLE WORK OF ART AND I AM OVER THE MOON RIGHT NOW THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

PS YOU DRAW REALLY NICE HANDS the I really like how you draw knuckles and that area /sobs I am sorry for the overly specific comment but like. KNUCKLES. AND ALSO YOUR THUMBS.
