Feeling generous? In this round, you get to give creative gifts as prompts.

This round is CLOSED as of 7PM on July 7 EDT. Late fills may be posted, but they will not receive points.

RULES

Submit prompts as a gift tag in the format below. You can specify the size and a characteristic of the gift, who the sender is, who the recipient is, and a one or two sentence note from the sender to the recipient. Descriptions of the package and the included note don’t have to be explicit, see below.

Your prompt MUST include a relationship. Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Riko & Momoi). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Riko/Momoi). Please don't say "Any pairing," either.
Fill prompts by leaving a responding comment to the prompt with your newly-created work. Fillers can get creative with how to interpret the prompt: your fill can be about the character receiving the gift, one or both characters using the gift, what prompted the sender to send the gift—the physical gift itself can even be excluded from your fill. What’s important is that the gift tag is clearly the inspiration for your fill.

SCORING

These numbers apply to your team as a whole, not each individual teammate. Make as many prompts/fills as you want!

For prompts: 5 points each (maximum of 50 prompt points per team per round)

For fills:

First 3 fills by any member of your team: 20 points each
Fills 4-10: 10 points each
Fills 11-20: 5 points each
Fills 21+: 2 points each

All scored content must be created new for this round.

Yukio wakes with a mouth full of blood.

He swallows, tasting copper and smoke and Ryouta's magic. He sits up in bed, and Ryouta is lying across his legs, eyes glinting golden in the moonlight, his lips a dark red.

"I couldn't help myself," Ryouta smiles, wide eyed and innocent as he wipes a trail of blood off his chin. He sucks on it, his eyes glowing brighter, and he laughs around his thumb, crawling up the bed, nuzzling against Yukio. "Do you mind?"

"Not at all," Yukio murmurs, feeling his own magic sitting in his fingertips. "Let me sit up."

Ryouta kneels up, letting him move freely, waiting until Yukio is comfortable before straddling him.

"Do you remember the first time you gave your heart to me?" Ryouta asks, licking his lips slowly.

"Metaphorically, or literally?" Yukio grins. "You'll have to be more specific."

"Please." Ryouta kisses Yukio's neck, leaving a bit of blood against his skin. "It happened at the same time."

"I suppose," Yukio murmurs. "There's just something intimate about watching someone eat your heart."

Ryouta grins, his perfect white teeth already stained with blood. He rests his hands on Yukio's bare chest. "You like it just as much as I do."

"I'll grow another," Yukio shrugs. "That's what I do."

"More for me."

"All for you."

Ryouta kisses his mouth, and tears into his chest.

It hurts, like nothing else in the world. Yukio is breathless with it, until he feels Ryouta's magic softening it. He still feels it, and he wants to, but it's a little easier to breath, easier to focus on the sight in front of him, Ryouta's hands slick with blood as he pulls Yukio apart to his very core.

"Is your magic ready?" Ryouta asks, his fingers closing around Yukio's heart.

With a nod, Yukio prepares himself for it. He's difficult to kill and missing a heart isn't going to change that. Still, it's good to be prepared.

"It's cute," Ryouta smiles. "So small."

"You're being greedy," Yukio replies. "It's only been a couple of days. It won't grow back to full size that quickly."

"Just a snack, then," Ryouta hums, and pulls. Yukio grunts softly, veins and arteries snapping, but then Ryouta's magic is there, easing that too.

Even when smaller than normal, Ryouta needs to open his mouth wide to fit Yukio's heart between his teeth. It's still beating when he bites down, another gush of blood pouring down his chin, his chest, over the bed sheets. Yukio leans back, watching as Ryouta swallows it down, licking his fingers clean before smiling.

"Let's put you back together, hm?" he takes the torn pieces of Yukio's chest, hands glowing with magic as he rejoins muscle and bone, sinew and skin.

Somewhere in his chest, Yukio feels the faint beat of a new heart already growing.

"It's been a hundred years," Yukio murmurs. "To the day."

Ryouta beams. "You remembered. Happy anniversary, Yukio."

"Yes," Yukio smiles, stroking his fingers over Ryouta's bloody chin. "It really is."
