Bonus Round 3: Gift Tags

This round is CLOSED as of 7PM on July 7 EDT. Late fills may be posted, but they will not receive points.
RULES
- Submit prompts as a gift tag in the format below. You can specify the size and a characteristic of the gift, who the sender is, who the recipient is, and a one or two sentence note from the sender to the recipient. Descriptions of the package and the included note don’t have to be explicit, see below.
- Package: medium sized cube, rattles
From: Kageyama Tobio
To: Hinata Shouyou
Note: These will help you get better. - Envelope: manila, 12''x17'', very thick and heavy
From: Tezuka Kunimitsu
To: Kinjou Shingo
Note: Enclosed - Play without regrets! - Your prompt MUST include a relationship. Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Riko & Momoi). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Riko/Momoi). Please don't say "Any pairing," either.
- Fill prompts by leaving a responding comment to the prompt with your newly-created work. Fillers can get creative with how to interpret the prompt: your fill can be about the character receiving the gift, one or both characters using the gift, what prompted the sender to send the gift—the physical gift itself can even be excluded from your fill. What’s important is that the gift tag is clearly the inspiration for your fill.
- Remember to follow the general bonus round rules, outlined here.

Inui walked into Fuji’s study. He hadn’t announced his visit, simply let himself in. But of course, that didn’t matter; Fuji was expecting him all the same.
Fuji stood behind his desk, staring out the window and slowly sipping at his drink. Inui swept his attention across the room, before his eyes settled on the chess set. The pieces were already spread out across the board, mid-battle. Inui walked up and unfurled his hand, revealing the black queen. He set it to the side, among the white side’s captured pieces.
“You started playing a bit too loosely with your pieces, Inui,” Fuji said, pulling back Inui’s attention. “You understand why I had to send you a message, of course.”
“Of course,” Inui repeated, flatly. He took a step forward, standing just in front of Fuji’s desk. “And just exactly what is the severity of my reminder?”
Fuji smiled, turned, and placed his drink on the hardwood desk. “I never cease to be charmed by your demeanor, you know. You never pause for a moment. You go straight for the details, calculate the losses.” He ran his fingers along his glass, causing the drink to swish just a bit. “You never stop to savor the moment. It’s endearing, in it’s own way.”
Inui raised an eyebrow. “Would you like to share a drink then?” he asked, after a moment of considering.
Fuji smiled. He swept over to his wet bar, and without asking what Inui would like, he started pouring a dark golden liquid into a glass. “Please, have a seat, Sadaharu,” he said, gesturing to his couch.
Inui walked over and sat to one side of the couch. Fuji was there in a moment, and Inui took the offered glass, their fingers brushing. Fuji didn’t let go though, instead keeping his light grip on the glass. Inui had expected Fuji to sit down beside him, but instead Fuji straddled Inui’s knees and lowered himself onto Inui’s lap. Once seated, Fuji grinned at him and let go of the glass.
Inui brought the drink to his lips, pausing to whiff at the strong scent of alcohol; strong enough to mask any other scents.
“Sadaharu, you don’t think I’d end our game so easily, do you?” Fuji said. The hand holding his own drink was resting on Inui’s shoulder, and Inui could hear the ice tinkling in it just behind his ear. Fuji’s other hand moved to run over Inui’s throat, down to the dip of his collarbone. “I’m offended.”
Inui drank, grimacing only slightly at the sting of the whiskey. He frowned as he pulled the glass away, preferring to look at it rather than meet Fuji’s grin. “We’re close to the endgame, aren’t we? One can never be too careful.”
“Sadaharu, that sounds very defeatist.” Fuji’s fingernails were untrimmed, a bit sharper than normal as they dug into his collarbone. “It’s very uncharacteristic coming from you.”
“It’s realistic,” Inui said.
Fuji’s finger continued downward, tugging at the top button of Inui’s shirt until it popped open. “Sadaharu… When it comes to the endgame…” Fuji continued downward, teasing at each button until it came undone, exposing Inui’s entire chest. He stretched his fingers over Inui’s chest, over his heart. “... you won’t have to wonder when I intend to kill you. You’ll see it coming plain as day.”
Inui took a long draw from his glass before setting it aside. “And how many more moves do you think I have before the time comes?”
“Well, that depends on how crafty you are, doesn’t it?”
Inui reached up, wrapping a hand around the back of Fuji’s neck, gripping tight just short of painfully. “I’ll find out what you did to him.”
Fuji smiled. “Of course you will. I never expected you to give up on your queen so easily. Though… You run the risk of spoiling the whole game if you focus on one piece.” Fuji’s fingers tensed on Inui’s chest, digging his nails in.
“It’s a calculated risk, I suppose,” Inui said.
Fuji knocked back the rest of his drink, and grinned down at him. “I’m sure your next move will be quite entertaining.”
