Bonus Round 3: Gift Tags

This round is CLOSED as of 7PM on July 7 EDT. Late fills may be posted, but they will not receive points.
RULES
- Submit prompts as a gift tag in the format below. You can specify the size and a characteristic of the gift, who the sender is, who the recipient is, and a one or two sentence note from the sender to the recipient. Descriptions of the package and the included note don’t have to be explicit, see below.
- Package: medium sized cube, rattles
From: Kageyama Tobio
To: Hinata Shouyou
Note: These will help you get better. - Envelope: manila, 12''x17'', very thick and heavy
From: Tezuka Kunimitsu
To: Kinjou Shingo
Note: Enclosed - Play without regrets! - Your prompt MUST include a relationship. Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Riko & Momoi). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Riko/Momoi). Please don't say "Any pairing," either.
- Fill prompts by leaving a responding comment to the prompt with your newly-created work. Fillers can get creative with how to interpret the prompt: your fill can be about the character receiving the gift, one or both characters using the gift, what prompted the sender to send the gift—the physical gift itself can even be excluded from your fill. What’s important is that the gift tag is clearly the inspiration for your fill.
- Remember to follow the general bonus round rules, outlined here.

Miyahara spreads her wings the moment she discovers that she has them, and he cannot envy her for it at all, doesn't even think to. The wind rustles through her feathers and he watches as she takes flight, disappearing into the sky. The world is hers, he thinks, with satisfaction. He's glad for it. He always knew that it would be; knew that she would make it hers, because that's the kind of person that he knows she is.
He's told her about the wind all this time, about how it feels to fly, and he's glad that she understands now, glad that she no longer has his words and her faith to go by. She has so much more, and he thinks that he sees her through the window sometimes, making graceful arcs in the air, faster than anyone else that he has ever seen.
Unlike her wings, made of feather and bone, his are made of glass, lying in shattered pieces now, carefully collected from where they'd scattered among the mountain, some of the edges still red with blood from when he'd carefully and painstakingly picked each and every single shard up, gathering them all into a jar.
They tell him that he won't be able to put them back together and he isn't yet sure if he wants to defy them and try. For now, it sits there beside his bed, as the doctors and nurses tend to the broken glass that still grows from his back. Glass within glass, catching the sunlight as it filters in from the window, turning it into fractured rainbows all around the room, the bright colours dancing over the drab monotony of the walls and the sheets and the clothes and the curtains.
He lets the colours paint the sights that Miyahara must see. The green of the mountains that he misses, the blue of the sea. The red of the desert, its sands blowing across the vast distance between them, carried by the same wind that carries her from one destination to the next. She greets him in postcards, carefully chosen, their messages handwritten, promising that he will see them too, because glass can be melted down and made whole again, because there is still glass growing from his back, growing and twisting and trying to knit itself back together into something that he can use.
His body hasn't given up yet, she tells him, and he doesn't even know who is updating her on all of this, but Miyahara has always been clever. He isn't surprised that she knows. He isn't allowed to give up either.
Smiling, Manami adds the newest postcard to the stack, watching his broken wings refract rainbows across the wall in front of him again, painting out the scenes that he's missing out on.
He isn't giving up at all. He'll break his wings again himself before he does.
