Bonus Round 6: Remixes

The event's almost over, and you've made it this far, congrats! This round encourages you to look back at everything the SASO has made and use it as inspiration.

This round is CLOSED as of 7PM on August 18 EDT. Late fills may be posted, but they will not receive points.

RULES

• Choose a fanwork created by other participants in a previous main or bonus round of SASO and create a new piece based on it. You could create a fanart of another work, an FST inspired by a piece’s style, retell another person’s fanfic from another point of view, create a new fanfic inspired by a great piece of art... go wild!
• You cannot remix your teammates' works.
• You must have permission from the original creator. There's a blanket permissions post here (feel free to add yourself to it!), or you can leave a comment on their original post asking for permission.
• You must include the dreamwidth link to the original work in your post.
• Since all fills are based on previous works, there will be no prompts for this round. Simply post your fill as a comment in response to this post.
• Remember to follow the general bonus round rules, outlined here.

These numbers apply to your team as a whole, not each individual teammate. Make as many fills as you want!

Inui flipped slowly through a fashion magazine as he listened to the sounds of struggling coming from the other side of the curtain in the dressing room. Fashion wasn’t normally Inui’s specialty, but well… recently he had developed a certain interest in it.

“Senpai, I don’t think it’s going to fit,” Kaidou grumbled from within the dressing room.

“It may seem tight, Kaidou, but that’s how these garments are meant to be worn,” Inui tells him through the curtain.

“I don’t think I can zip it up,” Kaidou says back.

Inui closes his magazine, considering, before setting it down and barging in past the curtain. Kaidou is standing there, plaintively tugging down at either side of a zip up shirt, not having much success with it. When he looks up and sees Inui’s reflection in the mirror he makes a yelping sort of noise and spins around.

“Senpai!”

Inui walks forward and Kaidou jumps back, a bit like a startled animal, but only manages to box himself into the corner. He pulls either side of his shirt, crossing his arms in some hope for decency, but Inui doesn’t pay any mind to that. He reaches out, wrapping a hand around each of Kaidou’s wrists slowly, and after a beat, Kaidou relaxes, going limp enough for Inui to remove his hands.

“You’re wearing it wrong,” Inui says.

Kaidou hisses. “How many ways could there possibly be to wear it?”

Inui grabs the shirt, and rearranges it on Kaidou’s body. Doing so completely exposes Kaidou’s chest and abdomen, but Inui only pays as much attention to those areas as necessary; his duty is to assist with the covering of those areas, after all. He tugs at the shirt so that it rests on Kaidou’s shoulders better.

“You were pulling it down, trying to get it to go all the way down to your waist, but it’s not supposed to do that. So it was sitting on your frame all wrong.” Inui runs his fingers under the bottom hem of the shirt, making sure that it’s sitting correctly, before bringing a hand to either side of the zipper. It’s still a bit of a struggle to bring the two ends together, but the fabric is stretchy and it does as it’s supposed to, bending to Inui’s will and he manages to slip the zipper together. Then slowly — to make sure the zipper didn’t catch any of Kaidou’s skin — he pulls the zipper upwards, using a second finger to keep the zipper from nipping at Kaidou.

When he focuses on Kaidou’s face again, it’s beet red.

“There,” Inui says, pulling away to show that his task is done.

It takes a moment before Kaidou moves again, but slowly he straightens up and turns back to the mirror.

And instantly balks.

“It shows my stomach,” he says, running his hands over his abdomen.

Inui smiles, and Kaidou just goes redder. “Exactly.”
