sportsanime | Bonus Round 6: Remixes

The event's almost over, and you've made it this far, congrats! This round encourages you to look back at everything the SASO has made and use it as inspiration.

This round is CLOSED as of 7PM on August 18 EDT. Late fills may be posted, but they will not receive points.

RULES

Choose a fanwork created by other participants in a previous main or bonus round of SASO and create a new piece based on it. You could create a fanart of another work, an FST inspired by a piece’s style, retell another person’s fanfic from another point of view, create a new fanfic inspired by a great piece of art... go wild!
You cannot remix your teammates' works.
You must have permission from the original creator. There's a blanket permissions post here (feel free to add yourself to it!), or you can leave a comment on their original post asking for permission.
You must include the dreamwidth link to the original work in your post.
Since all fills are based on previous works, there will be no prompts for this round. Simply post your fill as a comment in response to this post.

14 lines (poetry)

SCORING

These numbers apply to your team as a whole, not each individual teammate. Make as many fills as you want!

For fills:

First 3 fills by any member of your team: 20 points each
Fills 4-10: 10 points each
Fills 11-20: 5 points each
Fills 21+: 2 points each

Hinata doesn't make any sense, Kageyama thinks to himself with frustration as he sits in front of his computer, trying to find a place where he can acquire an alpaca. He doesn't even know why Hinata would want an alpaca, to be honest. Kageyama always thought that he'd be the kind of person to like simpler animals. Like overexcited puppies, considering that he's something of an overexcited puppy himself, but Hinata is a dumbass and has to have dumbass interests like alpacas and Kageyama doesn't even know why he cares so much.

He doesn't know why he wants to surprise Hinata like this, but he knows that it'll be worth it for that dumbass overexcited smile that he always gets on his face when something good happens to him. He might be annoying, but Kageyama has really come to like that smile.

Kageyama writes down the name of a place that looks promising, and draws himself a map to get there. It's going to be a pain, paying to hire an alpaca and figuring out how to transport it all the way to the school just so he can surprise Hinata with it, but Kageyama isn't the kind of person who backs down from challenges. He knows that he can figure this out.

He calls ahead, so he can find out exactly how much it's going to cost to hire the alpaca. He can only afford it for the afternoon, but he's pretty sure that it'll be enough. Luckily for him, they're happy to deliver it to wherever he needs, and they'll pick it up when he's done, too. It's probably better than what Kageyama was planning, which was to take the alpaca on the train. He still isn't entirely sure if alpacas need train tickets anyway, but at least that's no longer a problem that he has to worry about.

He tells Daichi that he'll be late to practice that afternoon, and waits by the gate of the school for the alpaca to be delivered. The alpaca handler guides it out of its trailer, with a rope around its neck. She smiles at Kageyama and hands over the leash.

"This is Sunny-chan," she tells him. "She's very friendly. You can pat her, if you'd like."

"Oh." Kageyama cautiously reaches out, patting the alpaca. She seems content with the attention, and Kageyama smiles at her. "She's nice."

"I hear that you want to surprise your friend," the handler tells him with a smile. "I think that's really nice of you."

Kageyama nods confidently. "Hinata's going to love this."
