Why is this work awesome?: i love that the focus here is how much they can say without words and through touch instead. like the ending just really drives it home with that very last line: 'It's moments like these, legs tangled together, eyes inseparable -- that I love you's weren't necessary, just yet.' This is such a great little line and i love it! the entire fic is really great in the way that it portrays the moment between them and it's just really soft and tender and i love a lot!

Why is this work awesome?: I LOVE HOW LIMPLY OIKAWA IS JUST HANGING THERE, the dangling arms and the look on Oikawa’s face are just too good, and it’s contrasted so nicely with the smile on Suga’s. I really love all of Suga’s merm traits too -- the head fins, the delicate transparency of the tailfins. Again, there is such a story here, the characters are so expressive.

Why is this work awesome?: Plants and plant magic is so tied into Oikawa’s theme, I like that Suga is the one here growing them -- and out of the concrete, too, a theme that plays in the background for both these characters. The textured brushes also lend a really lovely storybook feeling to the art, which is perfect for this mood, and I love, love, love the colour palette -- it’s balanced really well.

Why is this work awesome?: [incoherent screaming] this is an art fill that, when i first saw it, had me frozen to the spot. IT’S GORGEOUS AND BADASS AND AMAZING. the colours choices are beautiful, and with the composition it makes it feel like a movie poster (ennoshita would be so lucky!). i love everyone’s poses so much too, they all have so much character. yachi’s so dynamic and saeko’s so cocky, but kiyoko’s got to be my favourite here. she looks like a leader thinking of her next plan, the way she’s hidden in shadows but the light of the explosion plays off her glasses. i just love the sense of story i get from this picture.
