Bonus Round 1: AUs

SASO 2017 is over, but this round is perpetually open to new fills (no new prompts).
Please read this whole post before commenting to ensure that your team gets the most points possible. (There are changes from last year!)
RULES
- Submit prompts by commenting to this post with an alternate universe idea, along with a ship from one of our nominated fandoms. There's a comment template below for your convenience.
- Your prompt MUST include some kind of relationship. (This is not the sports anime gen olympics.) Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Izumi & Sakaeguchi). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Izumi/Sakaeguchi). Please don't say "Any pairing," either!
- An AU can be a canon divergence, e.g. "what if [character] was the Team Captain instead of the canon captain character?", or a completely different setting altogether, e.g., pop idol AU, coffee shop AU, superheroes AU, etc.
- Fill prompts by leaving a responding comment to the prompt with your newly-created work.
- Remember to follow the general bonus round rules, outlined here.

THE KINDNESS OF A KING
Article by Reebeegee
Jean-Jacques Leroy has so many friends. Some might even be tempted to say too many friends, but he would have to disagree. Last weekend I had the privilege to sit down with Jean-Jacques Leroy, or JJ as many affectionately call him by, the evening before his short program at the Grand Prix Final in Barcelona. His most beloved subject of discussion that evening was all the friends he has made through his journey as a professional figure skater.
According to the sparkling young JJ, there are never enough friends in the world. Every fan of his is a friend, and every personal acquaintance of his is a friend. All of his family, even the weird aunt he mentioned who lives in Vancouver with several cats, is his friend. There’s just something about JJ that’s so irresistibly friendly that one cannot know him by full name or nickname (JJ or King JJ, whichever his friends prefer) and not be his friend.
Who wouldn’t love his charmingly good looks? His cute hair? His French-Canadianness? His amazing personality? So self-centered one even forgives him, because in a way it has become cute to see him so supportive of his own existence.
“It’s like the best form of self-love,” Leo de la Iglesia says in regards to JJ’s self obsession in his latest interview. “He’s no worse than Viktor Nikiforov just because he’s a little more vocal about things. The thing about JJ is that literally nothing can upset him because he loves himself so much. Even the people that hate him have to love him, because he’s just that cool.”
Likewise, in a similar interview, Otabek Altin can be quoted saying, “He’s really just a cool guy,” and from a quiet and reserved skater like Otabek that’s really saying a lot.
Over the years of skating in competitions around the world and sharing multiple podium placements, the JJ-Leo-Otabek, or J-LO, friendship became a major hot topic of discussion amongst figure skating fans. Perhaps even as popular and heatedly debated as the skating power couple Katsuki Yuuri and Viktor Nikiforov.
“We’re really a good team,” JJ says confidently. “I was sad to see Leo not make it to the Grand Prix Final this year, but Otabek and I will surely dominate the podium. I’m the King JJ, after all, so if anyone deserves gold this year, it’s me or my friend Otabek Altin.”
