Bonus Round 1: AUs

SASO 2017 is over, but this round is perpetually open to new fills (no new prompts).
Please read this whole post before commenting to ensure that your team gets the most points possible. (There are changes from last year!)
RULES
- Submit prompts by commenting to this post with an alternate universe idea, along with a ship from one of our nominated fandoms. There's a comment template below for your convenience.
- Your prompt MUST include some kind of relationship. (This is not the sports anime gen olympics.) Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Izumi & Sakaeguchi). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Izumi/Sakaeguchi). Please don't say "Any pairing," either!
- An AU can be a canon divergence, e.g. "what if [character] was the Team Captain instead of the canon captain character?", or a completely different setting altogether, e.g., pop idol AU, coffee shop AU, superheroes AU, etc.
- Fill prompts by leaving a responding comment to the prompt with your newly-created work.
- Remember to follow the general bonus round rules, outlined here.

Sorry, it's not as fairy-tale like as it could be!

“Of course, I’ll do it,” Tatsuya said. “Don’t forget that I taught you how to bake, Taiga.”
But Taiga shook his head, looking stubborn. He’d explained the situation to Tatsuya and it still didn’t make much sense. He had been playing streetball with his friends when their basketball had completely missed the basket and disappeared into someone’s walled-off garden. Taiga, like an idiot, had decided to climb the ten-foot wall to get the ball. But --
“A monster lived in that house,” Taiga said flatly. “He threatened to crush me if I didn’t get him snacks.”
“That doesn’t sound too bad,” Tatsuya began to say.
Taiga blinked at him. “I’m pretty sure he’s a cannibal.”
“Don’t be ridiculous,” Tatsuya said. “I’m sure we can discuss this rationally. I’ll bring him some lemon bars! Did you get your ball back?”
“Hell no.”
“I’ll get it for you, then.”
*
Unlike Taiga, Tatsuya rang the doorbell and waited for the gate to buzz him in. It was pretty strange to see such a big house, surrounded by trees, in densely packed city like this. Whoever the owner was, he must be pretty rich. There was no reply to Tatsuya’s second or third buzzes, and he was debating just going home when the intercom came to life.
Tatsuya heard some heavy breathing and then a voice growled. “What is it?”
“Hi!” Tatsuya said cheerfully. “My brother Taiga was over a few days ago, to get his ball? He promised you snacks in exchange for it? I have lemon bars.”
“I don’t like lemon,” said the stranger, and buzzed him in.
*
It was the strangest house Tatsuya had ever been -- a mansion, sure, but utterly deserted. The grounds were littered by dozens and dozens abandoned balls -- basketballs, some baseballs and the occasional soccer ball. Tatsuya reflected that the house must be close to a school grounds or something and the owner must really take finder’s keepers very seriously.
Finally, he went into the house (also deserted) and went into the kitchen (surprisingly clean.) Tatsuya set his lemon bars on the kitchen table and looked around. He wondered how appropriate it would be if he took a look around. Deciding on doing exactly that, Tatsuya headed for the door, only to spot when he saw that his way was blocked by the longest pair of legs he’d ever seen. Those legs were attached to a long torso, and long, long arms reached out to grab him.
“Oh shit,” Tatsuya said aloud, finally losing his calm.
*
Turned out, Murasakibara really did hate lemons. He ate the entire baking dish’s worth of lemon bars though, complaining all the while. Despite what Taiga had said, Murasakibara wasn’t a monster -- at least, not literally. He was just -- very tall. Very, very tall. And strong. Tatsuya didn’t really think of himself as very fragile, but Murasakibara had whirled him around like he was made of paper.
“Do you live here by yourself?” Tatsuya asked. Murasakibara seemed pretty young, despite his size. He might even be Taiga’s age. “Do you go to school?”
“You ask too many questions,” Murasakibara muttered, finishing up the lemon bars.
“Sorry, I’m just really curious. Do you scare a lot of kids who try to get their ball?”
“No one’s stupid enough to climb the wall,” Murasakibara said sullenly.
“No one but Taiga,” Tatsuya said cheerfully. He got up from his seat and dusted his hands. “Well, I guess I should go. I’ve got school tomorrow.”
“You can’t go,” said Murasakibara, as if it was obvious. “You have to stay here forever.”
“Eh?” Tatsuya cocked his head to the side and thought about it. “Do you really want that? If you let me go, I’ll come back next week with something different. Do you like chocolate?”
Murasakibara looked him suspiciously. “What kind of chocolate?”
“Chocolate chip cookies. It’s really good. It might take me some time to track down all the ingredients but I promise you that you’ll love it.”
“How do I know you’ll come back? You could be lying. Everyone lies to me.”
“I promise I won’t.”
“Leave that here to make sure,” Murasakibara said, pointing to Taiga’s ring hanging around Tatsuya’s neck. Tatsuya hesitated for a moment before he nodded, taking off his necklace and dropping the ring and chain into Murasakibara’s large hands.
*
The next week, Tatsuya was back with a plate of freshly baked cookies. Taiga still hadn’t forgiven him for losing the ring, but he didn’t really know what choice he had. He rang the bell and the gates opened before him.
*
The week after that, it was the same thing.
*
And of course, eventually Tatsuya got lazy and just bought something from the combini for Murasakibara and he loved it so much more than anything Tatsuya ever made him from scratch.
*
Taiga never got his ball back, but eventually Murasakibara did leave his house, if only to go to this magical place, the combini, the place of endless snacks.
Tatsuya could only count that as a win.

Taiga has been missing for two days when Tatsuya begins to get frantic. He knows that Taiga has a good enough sense of direction that he hasn't just gotten lost somewhere in the woods outside of town, the way that the other villagers seem to think. For one, he knows that Taiga is too stubborn to let something like the winding woods and the pitch darkness stop him from figuring his way through, and that leads him to worrying thoughts, that perhaps Taiga can't find his way back because something's happened. Because something terrible has happened. He's been kidnapped. He's hurt himself. He's . . .
He's dropped his necklace and ring in the melting snow, deep in the woods, amongst what seem to be animal tracks.
Tatsuya frowns, crouching to pick it up, thumbing along the chain links of the necklace as if they can answer his questions. He isn't as familiar with animal trackers as the farmers who live on the edges of the town but he knows that he's never seen tracks like these before. They remind him of all the stories that Alex used to tell him and Taiga when they were young and prone to stay up late so they could sneak out to play in the town square when they were meant to be sleeping. Monsters that lived in the deepest heart of the wood, eating children who came too close, who would wander on their own.
Taiga is far from a child, but Tatsuya can't help the chill that runs down his spine all the same. The tracks continue, and Tatsuya follows them warily, his mouth going slack as they lead him through the thickest part of the woods, until he reaches an old, towering castle made of stone. It's unnecessarily large, the iron wrought gate hanging open. It creaks when Tatsuya pushes it open far enough to fit into it, carefully making his way across the long bridge leading to the double doors.
There's movement in the corner of the large entrance room. Tatsuya can't see exactly what, but he goes to investigate all the same. There's a scrap of clothing on the floor he recognises from the cloak that Taiga likes to wear out into the woods and he picks it up, frowning to himself as he walks down the staircase nearby.
The room it leads to is nothing like the plush entrance that Tatsuya was just in. It's cold and dark in here. A prison, he realises, quickening his pace and grabbing a torch from the wall to light his path.
"Tatsuya?" he hears Taiga's voice from ahead. "Is that you? What are you doing? Get out of here!"
"What are you doing here?" Tatsuya replies, his blood running cold as he sees Taiga locked behind thick iron bars. "Who threw you in here? I'll kick their ass, I swear—"
"Tatsuya," Taiga interrupts him. "You have to get out of here before it realises you're here."
"Before… what?" Tatsuya frowns. "What kind of creature lives here, Taiga?"
"A monster," a voice answers from behind him. "A big one, that will crush you right now if you don't leave me alone."
Tatsuya freezes up, turning around slowly, coming face to face with a beast so big that it reaches all the way to the ceiling, when hunched over. Its eyes are a deep purple, the room too dark to see the rest of its body.
"Did you put Taiga in here?" Tatsuya asks. "Let him go."
"He was annoying me," the beast replies. "He wouldn't stop talking, so I put him in here."
"Just let him go," Tatsuya reasons. "That way, you don't need to listen to him at all."
"Why would I do that?" the beast leans closer, its breath hot against Tatsuya's face. "Why would I listen to you, when you came here uninvited? Just like he was. No one's allowed in my parts of the woods. I'll crush them."
"Or imprison them, apparently." Tatsuya smiles. "I'll make you a bargain. Free him. Take me in his place."
The beast wrinkles his nose. "Why would I do that? I don't want you here either."
"Tatsuya don't," Taiga says from behind him, and the beast hums quietly.
"Oh. But if taking you prison in exchange for him makes him upset, then…" the beast reaches for the iron bars, pulling them out of the wall with terrifying ease. "He's free to go. You stay."
"You're going to fucking die," Taiga hisses, as Tatsuya presses his necklace back into his hands.
"I'll be fine," Tatsuya assures him, then pauses as the beast finally steps into the light. He's big, with sleek fur, a purple so dark that it almost looks black unless the light is shining on it. His teeth are long and pointed, his shoulders broad, his arms long, his thighs thick . . .
"Yeah," Tatsuya breathes, nodding to himself. "I'm going to be fine."
"Tatsuya, oh my god."
