Bonus Round 2: Tic-Tac-Toe

Please read this whole post before commenting to ensure that your team gets the most points possible. There's a lot of text here, but if you read carefully and follow the instructions step by step, you will be okay.
RULES
Please refer to the first comment thread of this post for an example of how this round works.PROMPTING
- Select a ship to create your prompt card about. Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Haruki & Kazuma). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Haruki/Kazuma). Please don't say "Any pairing," either!
- Visit this card generator.
- Here is a visual guide to using it.
- The large text box is where you can list prompts if you have your own ideas. Please list at least 9 prompts; you can list more if you want. (The generator says you need at least 24, but it's lying.) Single words or short phrases are better than sentences.
- Otherwise, you can use the dropdown menu found right below it. Note: some of these prompts lists are NSFW. (NSFW prompts are a-ok as long as you tag for it.) If you don't like some of the options that appear in a prompt list, you can delete them.
- Text prompts only, please. Also, each card square must be unique—don't list the same prompt 9 times.
- In "Configuration Options," make sure you select 3x3 and (Normal prompt). This is the most important step!
- Leave the tic-tac-toe card with its default colors, so everyone can read it clearly.
- Click the "Create a bingo card" button.
- Scroll down to see the card that was created for you. If you don't like the prompts it picked, you can reroll by clicking "Create a bingo card" again.
- When you're satisfied, scroll further down the page until you see a textarea box full of HTML.
- Copy and paste the HTML from the box and into the body of your prompt comment, then post!
FILLING
Fill prompts by selecting an individual square to create fanwork for, then leaving a responding comment to the prompt with your newly-created work. (Optional:) If you can fill three squares from a prompt in a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal line, you get a tic-tac-toe (and an additional point bonus)! You can also just fill prompts as you please and get standard points.
- Prompt squares are labeled as follows:
A1 B1 C1 A2 B2 C2 A3 B3 C3 - If you're trying for tic-tac-toe, you cannot combine squares into one fill. If your fill can satisfy multiple squares, pick the most relevant square: e.g., one square is sailing and another is pirates and you make a fill about pirates sailing, it's mostly pirates so put down the pirates square.
- Each fill must stand alone as an individual piece, but all your fills can slot into a larger universe if you'd like.
- You cannot fill a prompt square more than once, but you can fill every square on a tic tac toe card if you want to.
- You cannot work with your teammates to get a tic-tac-toe. Only individually achieved tic-tac-toes get the bonus.
- Multiple people can fill the same prompt square. You cannot "block" others from getting tic-tac-toe.
- Remember to also follow the general bonus round rules, outlined here.
- Here is a prompt/fill index for your convenience.
FORMAT
Bonus round shenanigans all happen in the comments below. Brand-new works only, please.Required Work Minimums:
- 400 words (prose)
- 400px by 400px (art/images)
- 14 lines (poetry)
Format your comment in one of the following ways:
If PROMPTING: | If FILLING: | If FILLING as a TEAM GRANDSTAND participant: |
PROMPT: TEAM [YOUR SHIP]
| FILL: TEAM [YOUR SHIP], [SQUARE], [RATING]
| FILL: TEAM GRANDSTAND, [SQUARE], [RATING]

SCORING
These numbers apply to your team as a whole, not each individual teammate. Make as many prompts/fills as you want! For prompts: 5 points for each tic-tac-toe card (maximum of 50 prompt points per team per round)
For fills:First 4 fills by any member of your team: 20 points each
Fills 5-10: 15 points each
Fills 11-20: 5 points each
Fills 21-50: 2 points each
Fills 51+: 1 point each
Tic-tac-toe Bonus: 2 points each for the first 12 achieved by your team
All scored content must be created new for this round.
Etc.
If you're hunting through the prompts looking for what to fill, a good trick is to view top-level comments only (see the line of links below this post).Have a question? Check The FAQ first. If you still need help, feel free to contact the mods. Happy fanworking!

First there was the egg hunt in spring; and now this.
“I’m going to kill you, Shittykawa” Iwaizumi says. His cheeks are flushed bright pink. His tone is completely flat. But also completely flat is the white silk bustier pulled taut across his magnificently sculpted abs, so Oikawa cheerfully ignores the threat of it. Elegantly clawed hands smooth Iwaizumi’s lace veil where it had gotten caught in the flower crown as Oikawa hums tunelessly, pleased by his personal choice of pale green leaves twined around lush peony blossoms. Beautifully flushed pink just like his Iwa-chan in full bloom.
“Be careful you don’t trip over the train, Iwa-chan, we all know how big and clumsy you are,” Oikawa sing-songs instead. He’s changed his black tunic for one completely white, white silk to match white silk, and poppies are threaded delicately across the length of his cape. His horns are polished to a gleam, bright enough to blind in the pale spring sun, but surely their spired tips have blinded enough people in Oikawa’s long lifetime, too. “Minimal blood splash, too, please.”
“I’m not a messy eater like you,” Iwaizumi grunts. He’s patting around his skirts for somewhere to sheathe a small blade and almost slices off the thin lace garter after mistaking it for a holster
“It’s not my fault Tobio-chan struggled so much! It was only a little bit, too!” Oikawa huffs, crossing his arms and turning his nose up. Iwaizumi can figure out his own gear if he’s going to be like that. Let him try to shoulder that big ugly greatsword without ripping the finely encrusted crystal straps of his dress. “Anyway, that brat has two eyes, he can spare a measly single one for his dear tutor.”
But Iwaizumi just ignores him. His patience is wearing as thin as the sheer thigh high stockings that run the smooth length of his tanned, shaved legs; he plucks idly at a garter and wonders if it’s strong enough to hold the lightly enchanted silver blade.
“Ah, ah, ah, naughty Iwa-chan! You have to wait for the wedding night to do that.” Oikawa is leaning into Iwaizumi’s space now, close, closer, smiling that sharp sweet smile and he’s warm in a way that speaks of a hellfire that burns barely contained under the thin bones of his breast. Iwaizumi doesn’t think he can flush any redder than he already is in this moment.
“I’m definitely going to kill you now, Shittykawa.”
“But then I’d have to take this back,” Oikawa says softly, so unfamiliarly, achingly sincere as his fingers reach to frame the flower crown gently. He had fought hard for it; he had wanted it to matter. “Besides, now you get this, too. Don’t be so ungrateful, Iwa-chan, it’s an ugly look even for a brute like you.”
Iwaizumi doesn’t smile at all as Oikawa hands over a lance, inlaid with sky blue and silver, and he tries to get a feel for the weight of it in his hands. It’s nothing like his greatsword. It feels brittle, imperfect somehow, incomplete. But he trusts Oikawa above all else, even if they are standing here in the deserted throne room of a shadow castle half ruined by Oikawa’s demon madness, waiting for death to finally fall on their foolish heads. He could have left, like he once did, but Iwaizumi always comes back. Always, always.
“I just hope you’re right about this,” Iwaizumi says nonetheless. A little bit of skepticism when it came to Oikawa was probably healthy for everyone involved.
“And when has the great Oikawa-san ever been wrong.”
“Well—”
The throne room doors are thrown wide open with a clatter, and Oikawa just smiles, wide, manic, face alight as he sees Kageyama striding down the centre aisle followed by that pesky little orange-haired shrimp he had probably picked up out of a ditch somewhere along the way. But Oikawa has seen all he needed to see: Kageyama’s bangs grown longer to cover his ruined eye, and more importantly, the new sword held aloft in Kageyama’s ready hand.
“Hard to shoot me full of arrows like that, isn’t it, Tobio-chan,” Oikawa sneers, smiling with all of his sharp white teeth. He still remembers how it tasted; wet, a little salty, a whole lot bitter. It had gone down so easily. Kageyama had gone down so easily.
“This is kind of awkward,” Hinata says, squinting. The sword in his own hand trembles a little with nerves.
“You look very nice, Iwaizumi-san,” Kageyama mumbles, trying to be polite, and he nudges Hinata sharply, hisses, “Don’t stare like that, idiot, it’s rude.”
Hinata shrugs. “At least Iwaizumi-san's wearing pants. The Grand King just had that sexy bunny suit last time and you couldn’t stop staring at his legs—”
“Those aren’t pants!”
“Kill them both, Iwa-chan,” Oikawa snaps, and he slaps Iwaizumi’s ass to send him forward into the fray.
Re: FILL: TEAM KAGEYAMA TOBIO/OIKAWA TOORU, A2, T
this is the fe:h event of my dreams, how many orb does it take to summon the demon king's bride so that i too may slap him on the ass, rip my walletBUT LIKE. the absurdity of the costumes, trying to arm themselves without ruining their clothes, and the teasing!! iwachan is so pretty in his dress, even tobiochan says so~ I laughed so hard at hinata being rude, please, respect your elders
but with the echoes of demon madness and futility and violence and the iwachan who leaves, sometimes, but always comes back to this, asdasdadakljd. there's something so chilling, so eerie about this mad setting, with the claws on the delicate flower crown and the tender death threats

Hajime pinches the bridge of his nose, trying very hard not to release all the pent-up frustration he's accumulated through the day. The enemy is retreating, clearly outnumbered and lacking a force that will rival the opponent, and Hajime is glad that there will be no more fighting.
Because he's pretty sure someone was going to get killed.
“Tooru, if you don't know how to use a sword, then don't use a sword!” he snaps at last, witness to the poor attempt of a swing by the army's strategist. The blade barely grazed the bandit's arm, and fortunately for Tooru, Issei is nearby and the situation is handled without further worrying.
Hajime marches towards the fool that is supposed to keep the lives of the soldiers safe, including his own, and doesn't hesitate to jab him in the side. Tooru cries out and backs away in a swift move that will certainly be useful to dodge attacks, and he stares at Hajime, both confused and guilty.
“Do you have to be so violent, Hajime?” Tooru whines. “And what was that for?”
“For being an idiot, dumbass,” Hajime growls. “What the hell were you thinking? You're not a swordsman! Stick to your tomes if you don't want to get killed!”
“You wound me, Hajime!”
“Your job's not to be in the frontlines, but to strategize and to guide us!”
Tooru is pouting now, looking at his iron sword as if it would make Hajime less angry. Ever since he joined Prince Yuutarou's army to defeat an evil dragon that will destroy the world, he has shown remarkable skills with magic and intelligence, and the other soldiers seemed rather pleased to have him as the strategist. But wielding another weapon other than tomes is more than necessary to defend himself at close range, when he doesn't have the time to cast a spell!
Hajime truly isn't happy with the turn of events.
“I know you want to be as useful as possible, but right now isn't a time to test new ways of attack. We don't have many mages in the army, and Akira can't do both the healing and the attacking.”
Tooru knows that, he always assigns Akira to Prince Yuutarou's squad to heal them as soon as they get injured, on top of giving some support with a spell from afar. He sighs, crosses his arms over his chest and sends an irritated look at Hajime.
“So I stay in the back, that's it?” he scoffs.
Hajime rolls his eyes. “I said we don't have enough mages, so that means we need you. Stay with me, I'll cover the 'swing a sword' area while you cover me. Pair ups always work better, isn't that what you said?”
And Hajime flashes him a grin, maybe a bit too smug for Tooru's liking, but he's right and knowing that Hajime will rely on him gives him a pleasant but funny feeling.
Re: FILL: Team Himuro Tatsuya/Nijimura Shuuzou, B2, T
and second, i love that this is about pair ups and support since it's so important in HQ as well as FE, and it's nice to see those elements carry over :3
thirdly, i will never tire of protective iwachan trying to keep everyone, but especially oikawa, safe by yelling at them and smacking some sense into them~
PS: iwachan, he just has to raise his weapon level until he can wield a levin sword, okay let him hit the small enemies for exp
Re: FILL: Team Himuro Tatsuya/Nijimura Shuuzou, B2, T
I'm glad you liked it!! I won't lie, fights back to back are one of my fave things soooo pair ups are just too good... and Iwa-chan is The support who yells and punches at both his partner and the enemy aha.
he thinks oikawa is going to get killed before his weapon level reaches the C level--
