Bonus Round 2: Tic-Tac-Toe

Please read this whole post before commenting to ensure that your team gets the most points possible. There's a lot of text here, but if you read carefully and follow the instructions step by step, you will be okay.
RULES
Please refer to the first comment thread of this post for an example of how this round works.PROMPTING
- Select a ship to create your prompt card about. Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Haruki & Kazuma). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Haruki/Kazuma). Please don't say "Any pairing," either!
- Visit this card generator.
- Here is a visual guide to using it.
- The large text box is where you can list prompts if you have your own ideas. Please list at least 9 prompts; you can list more if you want. (The generator says you need at least 24, but it's lying.) Single words or short phrases are better than sentences.
- Otherwise, you can use the dropdown menu found right below it. Note: some of these prompts lists are NSFW. (NSFW prompts are a-ok as long as you tag for it.) If you don't like some of the options that appear in a prompt list, you can delete them.
- Text prompts only, please. Also, each card square must be unique—don't list the same prompt 9 times.
- In "Configuration Options," make sure you select 3x3 and (Normal prompt). This is the most important step!
- Leave the tic-tac-toe card with its default colors, so everyone can read it clearly.
- Click the "Create a bingo card" button.
- Scroll down to see the card that was created for you. If you don't like the prompts it picked, you can reroll by clicking "Create a bingo card" again.
- When you're satisfied, scroll further down the page until you see a textarea box full of HTML.
- Copy and paste the HTML from the box and into the body of your prompt comment, then post!
FILLING
Fill prompts by selecting an individual square to create fanwork for, then leaving a responding comment to the prompt with your newly-created work. (Optional:) If you can fill three squares from a prompt in a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal line, you get a tic-tac-toe (and an additional point bonus)! You can also just fill prompts as you please and get standard points.
- Prompt squares are labeled as follows:
A1 B1 C1 A2 B2 C2 A3 B3 C3 - If you're trying for tic-tac-toe, you cannot combine squares into one fill. If your fill can satisfy multiple squares, pick the most relevant square: e.g., one square is sailing and another is pirates and you make a fill about pirates sailing, it's mostly pirates so put down the pirates square.
- Each fill must stand alone as an individual piece, but all your fills can slot into a larger universe if you'd like.
- You cannot fill a prompt square more than once, but you can fill every square on a tic tac toe card if you want to.
- You cannot work with your teammates to get a tic-tac-toe. Only individually achieved tic-tac-toes get the bonus.
- Multiple people can fill the same prompt square. You cannot "block" others from getting tic-tac-toe.
- Remember to also follow the general bonus round rules, outlined here.
- Here is a prompt/fill index for your convenience.

So I never had time to write much before the deadline hit, but here is at least one fill. And you can bet that after SASO I’ll probably keep writing things based on this card because I am a fool. Please enjoy~

“I’m thinking of getting a no-chip manicure done,” JJ says to his stylist, Otabek, hands outstretched before him in the midday sun. If these were Edward Cullen’s hands they would be sparkling, JJ thinks to himself as he marvels at the beautiful tan of his skin. These hands, JJ’s hands, have always been the most beautiful in the sunlight, and it had been just his luck that this afternoon’s summer watch photoshoot had taken place on a beach. Of course, having already reached the perfect level of tan, JJ had Otabek moisturize his hands hand with high SPF lotion.
“But if you do the no-chip, you won’t be able to do a shoot unless they agree to the color your nails or they cover them.”
A soft breeze from the beach tousles Otabek’s hair as he reclines in a chair next to JJ. And of course, because the universe has somehow aligned itself perfectly for Jean-Jacques Leroy, JJ looks up just in time to see the black whisps flicker across Otabek’s face. A sight so stunning that it’s one of the few things that make JJ’s heart beat for something other than himself. Otabek’s hair is possibly as beautiful as JJ’s godly fingers, only JJ can touch his own hands however much he wants and Otabek’s hair is most likely off-limits.
“I’m the King JJ,” he says, smug and cocky with a grin, “no one would ever say no to me.”
Otabek gives him one of his signature You’re a fucking idiot looks that to anyone else means murder, but to JJ means heartbreak.
“I mean, when it fits with the schedule of course,” JJ amends with a wink.
After the photoshoot, JJ had insisted they spend the rest of the day lounging on the sand, drinking fruity cocktails and definitely not swimming. The salt water would ruin his own perfect hair, although women and men alike do agree he looks absolutely stunning when soaked--it makes his abs glisten. He wouldn’t mind seeing Otabek dripping wet either, but after that one time JJ pushed him into a pool at a work party just for fun, Otabek has set strict rules about his proximity to liquids. Even ponds and sprinklers. It’s honestly no fun when the two of them are walking somewhere in the rain and Otabek won’t walk on the same side of the street as him because he says JJ will jump in all the puddles just to spite him. Which might be true.
“You know what we need?”
Otabek tilts his expressionless face to the side and stares at JJ. “I don’t need anything.” (JJ of course ignores this because wow classic Otabek why is he always like this? Why is he so rude but so attractive?)
“Drinks,” JJ declares. “Another round. I’ll be back.”
JJ walks across the blistering sand of the beach with divine purpose. It his job, he declared long ago, to crack Otabek Altin. Not that he wants to break him. No, he just wants a little peek inside, or to be let in. Just a tad. Like enough for all of JJ’s charms to overwhelm him and fall madly in love with him. That can’t be too much to ask for right? No one can be this impervious to the King JJ.
Alcohol, in small amounts, is his key. He would never take advantage of a drunk person, and Otabek tends toward being a responsible drinker, it’s just that drinking makes Otabek a little softer around the edges. Perhaps he’ll smile instead of frown, or there will be a sparkle in his dead fish eyes instead of a glare. Nothing too crazy, just enough to make JJ feel like there’s more to Otabek than he lets on.
Distracted by his determination to crack Otabek, he doesn’t realize when there is a change in the pavement from the sandy beach to wooden slats as he approaches the bar. The fall happens in slow motion, with JJ cringing as he reaches out his perfect hands to save himself from ruining his perfect face. He slams into the wood fingers-first, then the pain settles in and the worry because oh my god his hands are his career and he just smashed them. Not once does he feel embarrassed though. Kings are above that.
With dignity he pushes himself up on sore hands, oblivious to the bar staff and customers who all witnessed his wipeout. He’s got bigger fish to fry, like the splinter in his thumb and the bruises he’s going to have on his tender palms. And, fuck, he chipped a nail. Fuck, fuck, fuck.
“This is terrible.” He wants to cry, but decides to choke down tears with a shot of tequila and a strong drink. Only Otabek is allowed to see him cry.
“Bartender?” JJ weeps when he reaches the counter. “A shot of tequila and two Long Island Iced Teas please.” If his voice sounds ragged it’s because he speaks with a natural husky timber. Definitely not tears.
The bartender, who is actually kind of cute but not hot and dead inside like Otabek, gives JJ a once over and a wry smile. “The shot’s on me,” he says, placing the glass on the counter and filling it to the brim, then pulls out salt and a lime wedge.
“Thank you.” JJ sniffs pitifully and takes the shot.
“No problem. Your drinks will be up shortly.”
When JJ returns with two strong drinks in his bruised hands, the first thing Otabek says to him is “Did you cry? You look like someone slapped you.”
“I’ve chipped a nail.” JJ bites back the tears, eyes glistening. He hands Otabek his drink and slumps into his chair. “I would never cry.”
Otabek rolls his eyes but puts his drink down and grabs JJ’s unoccupied hand in his own. He exams JJ’s fingers for a moment, eyes trailing the slender lines and smooth skin in a way that makes JJ’s heart skip several beats, then he drops his hand to search for something in his bag. Moments later he pulls out a nail file, something he always has at the ready since he’s JJ’s personal hand stylist. Not even JJ could have perfect nails without a little help, especially when personal hand care maintenance requires a unique ambidextrous technique if one is to do it themselves.
“Don’t worry. The Prada shoot isn’t until next week, and the Gucci shoot tomorrow features leather gloves and a wrist-watch. No one will know.”
“Thank you,” JJ says, relaxes into his seat, and latches onto the straw in his drink with his ruined hand in the secure care of Otabek’s.
“No problem. It’s what I’m here for.” Otabek gives JJ one of this tiny smiles that melts him to the core, and all he can think is that he is so fucked.
Re: FILL: Team Katsuki Yuuri/Victor Nikiforov, G (or T because swearing?)
I have no idea why JJ THE HAND MODEL is so delightful to me, maybe because it seems so right? He'd still make those hand gestures with his initials and everything.
FILL THESE AT WHATEVER PACE YOU'D LIKE, I'M DEFINITELY FINE WITH THAT.
