Bonus Round 3: FSTs
Please read this whole post before commenting to ensure that your team gets the most points possible.
RULES
- Submit prompts in the form of a short playlist (1-6 songs) and a ship from any of our nominated fandoms. Submit only the track listing and a link to where they can be listened to; the idea is for others to interpret what you present. You may also link to lyrics if you would like.
- Your prompt MUST include some kind of relationship. Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Lilia & Sara). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Lilia/Sara). Please don't say "Any pairing," either.
- Create content based on the playlists of others! Fill prompts by leaving a responding comment to the prompt with your newly-created work.
- Fills may be in any form you choose (except for another FST of course) as long as they are inspired by/fit the mood of the soundtrack they are filling for.

“I dunno about this…. Does it look weird? It looks weird, doesn’t it?” Noya complained into the mirror, running his hands through the short cropped hair at the sides of his head. He’d finally decided to get an undercut, and it seemed like he was having second thoughts.
“Don’t worry about it, dude. Your hair looks great,” Tanaka said. He rolled over on Noya’s bed, resting his chin in his hand as he watched Noya fiddle with hair gel on the other side of the room. “You’re like, really attractive. You know that, right? No homo.”
Noya made a weird noise in his throat and turned around. “Really, dude? You think so?”
“Yeah, man,” said Tanaka. “You’re hot.”
“Huh….” Noya turned back to the mirror, touching his hair lightly, almost absently. Even across the room, Tanaka thought he could see Noya’s reflection redden.

Noya was pretty sure this wasn’t how they were positioned when they fell asleep.
Tanaka was sprawled half on top of him on the tiny cot in the room the team were staying at during the training camp. Noya woke up to the feeling of Tanaka’s weight pressing into his chest, his arm draped over Noya’s shoulder. It wasn’t… uncomfortable. A little warm, maybe, but it was also… nice, in its own, totally platonic bro-y way. He liked the way Tanaka’s shirt was riding up, exposing his stomach to Noya’s own bare skin. He felt closer that way.
At some point, Noya must have shifted, because Tanaka stirred to wakefulness, yawning but making no move to untangle his limbs from Noya’s. “G’mrn,” Tanaka mumbled.
“Good morning.”
Tanaka buried his face into Noya’s neck. “Don’t wanna move. Smell good, dude.”
Noya turned his face into the pillow and tried not to blush.

“I’ve never kissed anyone before. What if I’m a really bad kisser?”
“You’re probably not a bad kisser. Well, not any worse than anyone else in a first kiss, I guess,” Noya reasoned. “I mean, I haven’t kissed anyone, either, so you’re probably not worse than me.”
“Dude,” Tanaka said. He sat up on Noya’s couch, propping himself up on his elbows and fixing Noya with a hesitant look. “Do you… do you want to practice?”
“Practice what?”
“Kissing.”
“Oh.” Noya thought for a second. On one hand, it would be his first kiss—but would it really count, if it was with his best friend? Probably not. “Okay,” he decided. “Yeah, let’s try it.”
“Cool,” Tanaka said. He scooted forward across the couch and into Noya’s space. “So, uh. Let’s do this?”
“Yeah.”
“Okay. Here I go….” Tanaka leaned in, hesitating just a moment above Noya’s lips before pushing the rest of the way forward and pressing their lips together. It was dry and chaste and only lasted for a second, but it still happened. The ghost of the feeling lingered even after Tanaka pulled away, his cheeks red and his lip caught between his teeth nervously. Noya couldn’t stop looking at his mouth.
“Uh,” Noya stammered, a little hysterically, “no homo…?”
“Yeah…” Tanaka agreed, but even as he spoke he was leaning forward again, drawing closer to Noya’s lips. Noya tilted his head up and they kissed again, longer this time.
“…Maybe a little homo,” Noya admitted when they pulled away a second time. “I sort of really like kissing you.”
“Same, actually,” Tanaka said. “I also really like cuddling with you, in like, a full homo way.”
Thank God, Noya wasn’t the only one. “So, yes homo, then?”
“Fuck yeah, homo.”
“Neat,” Noya said.
There was significantly more kissing after that.

throwing my hat into the ring

“Don’t you think it’s weird that Noya-san doesn’t have a girlfriend?” Ryuu asked Saeko one evening.
“Not as weird as the fact that you keep obsessing over this,” Saeko replied, not taking her eyes off the romance drama on the TV. Ryuu pulled a face and shoved a foot into her thigh. She sighed and looked at him.
“Look, you and I both know that Yuu is great, but he’s also a volleyball-obsessed punk, just like you. Girls in high school aren’t interested in that. It’ll happen; don’t worry.” She turned back to the TV, then shot him a look out of the corner of her eye. “Why are you more concerned about Yuu not having a girlfriend than you not having one, anyway?”
“Shut up.” Ryuu reddened and kicked at her again. Saeko laughed.
Ryuu watched Noya, trying to figure out how girls saw him. He was short, yeah, but he also had strong legs and quick reflexes, which had to count for something. And his eyes and smile were so bright it was ridiculous. Noya had really nice skin, too, even if it was covered in bruises half the time. But wasn’t that the sort of thing where girls would see, and want to count those bruises and admire them and kiss them better?
Noya was loud, and stubborn, but it was because he was passionate about everything. Didn’t girls like passion? And ok, he couldn’t sit through any movie quietly, but that was kind of funny, and anyway, nobody’s perfect. Plus, he was so cool! How could anyone not fall in love with him? Had they ever seen him play, all focus and lightning fast moves? Even his other teammates didn’t seem to know (or rather, they had a bunch of ideas, but none of them properly satisfied Ryuu).
What was wrong with these girls?
“Hey, Ryuu, you all right?” Noya asked. “You’ve been spacing out a lot recently.”
Ryuu started and looked up at Noya.
“Huh? Oh,” he scratched the back of his neck. “I guess I have, yeah. Sorry.”
“Y’allright?” Noya repeated through a mouth full of pretzels.
“Totally fine,” Ryuu replied. I was thinking about what it would be like to date you, he didn’t say. That would probably sound weird. Noya narrowed his eyes; he could tell when Ryuu was lying. Noya leaned over the table until he was nose-to-nose with Ryuu, his eyes so narrowed they were practically scrunched closed. He looked ridiculous, and Ryuu wanted to laugh.
He kissed him instead. A quick lunge forward to press their mouths together, barely avoiding bashing their noses into each other. Ryuu didn’t know he was going to do it, didn’t know how much he wanted to, until he did it, and as soon as he realized what was happening, he pulled back.
Noya stared at him, eyes wide. Then he started laughing.
“What the hell, dude?” Ryuu felt his stomach disappear. “That was awful!” Noya was still laughing, and Ryuu was torn between wanting to shrink away to nothing and joining in. He settled for an awkward smile and blinking rapidly.
Noya crawled up onto the table and kneeled in front of Ryuu. He took his face in his hands and leaned in.
“Here,” he said.
They were kissing again, somehow. They were kissing again, properly, and Noya had started it. It was awesome. Girls really, really didn’t know what they were missing.
Ryuu brought his hands up to pet Noya’s arms, feeling ridiculous and light-headed.
Maybe it was ok that girls didn’t know what they were missing, if it meant that he and Noya could kiss like this.
