Bonus Round 3: FSTs

SASO 2017 is over, but this round is perpetually open to new fills (no new prompts).

Profess your love for your favorite ships with the power of song! In this round, we ask you to create fan soundtracks and use them as inspiration for new fanwork.

Please read this whole post before commenting to ensure that your team gets the most points possible.

RULES

• Submit prompts in the form of a short playlist (1-6 songs) and a ship from any of our nominated fandoms. Submit only the track listing and a link to where they can be listened to; the idea is for others to interpret what you present. You may also link to lyrics if you would like.
• Your prompt MUST include some kind of relationship. Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Lilia & Sara). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Lilia/Sara). Please don't say "Any pairing," either.
• Create content based on the playlists of others! Fill prompts by leaving a responding comment to the prompt with your newly-created work.
• Fills may be in any form you choose (except for another FST of course) as long as they are inspired by/fit the mood of the soundtrack they are filling for.
• Remember to follow the general bonus round rules, outlined here.

• 400px by 400px (art)
• 14 lines (poetry)

SCORING

These numbers apply to your team as a whole, not each individual teammate. Make as many prompts/fills as you want!

For prompts: 5 points each (maximum of 50 prompt points per team per round)

For fills:
First 4 fills by any member of your team: 20 points each
Fills 5-10: 15 points each
Fills 11-20: 5 points each
Fills 21-50: 2 points each
Fills 51+: 1 point each

All scored content must be created new for this round.

I just. I have no excuse. This is practically crack.

“That’s how you knoooooooow~” Takao sang cheerfully as he kept running with the rickshaw. Midorima stared down at his textbook and did his best to concentrate despite the song that Takao insisted on belting out. When he failed, he shut the textbook with a definite slam and picked up the little matryoshka doll that was today’s lucky item.

“Why are you singing?” He demanded, waiting to speak until Takao had to pause for breath.

“It helps with my stamina, Shin-chan,” Takao answered brightly. “Pulling the rickshaw exercises all my muscles and singing at the same time makes me practice breath control. I’ll be less likely to end up breathless on the court if I work my lungs as well.”

“Hmph.” Midorima couldn’t find any fault with that argument. There was no point suggesting that Takao sing more quietly either because then the workout would be less effective.

“Why don’t you give a try when it’s your turn to pull the rickshaw?” Takao suggested, turning his head so that Midorima could see his grin.

“If it’s ever my turn, I would prefer not to make a spectacle of myself by singing through the streets,” Midorima said, tone as stiff as his back as he opened his textbook again.

The next day, Midorima was prepared for Takao’s aural assault. He packed headphones along with podcasts to listen to.

He then found out that Takao sang so loudly that he could hear Takao even over the headphones. If he turned the volume up on the headphones so that he couldn’t hear Takao’s singing, he’d be risking permanent damage to his hearing.

With a sigh, he set the headphones aside and resigned himself to having to listen to Takao’s rendition of ‘don’t go breaking my heart’. At least the trip to school wasn’t too long.

“Do you take requests?” He asked dryly.

“Sure,” Takao said, still smiling. His eyes were a little bright, Takao looking at him with that odd intensity he sometimes had. “If I don’t know the song, I’ll listen to it tonight and prepare it for tomorrow.”

“Danse macabre by Saint Saens.” The name sounded enough like an actual song that Takao hopefully wouldn’t recognize Saint Saens as a composer instead of a band.

“Is it French?” Takao asked, turning around to continue jogging forwards.

“Yes,” Midorima said without any hesitation. After all, Saint Saens was a French composer.

“I don’t know any French but I’ll do my best,” Takao promised.

The next day, Midorima’s rickshaw was occupied by a music player attached to speakers. While Dance Macabre played, Takao sang the story of the French superstition that had inspired Danse Macabre.

He did it in Japanese instead of French but Midorima still had to give him points for effort.

Eventually, Midorima got used to being serenaded with love songs on the way to school.

The rest of the team took bets on how long it would take Midorima to realize why Takao was choosing those particular songs.
