Bonus Round 3: FSTs

Please read this whole post before commenting to ensure that your team gets the most points possible.
RULES
- Submit prompts in the form of a short playlist (1-6 songs) and a ship from any of our nominated fandoms. Submit only the track listing and a link to where they can be listened to; the idea is for others to interpret what you present. You may also link to lyrics if you would like.
- Your prompt MUST include some kind of relationship. Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Lilia & Sara). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Lilia/Sara). Please don't say "Any pairing," either.
- Create content based on the playlists of others! Fill prompts by leaving a responding comment to the prompt with your newly-created work.
- Fills may be in any form you choose (except for another FST of course) as long as they are inspired by/fit the mood of the soundtrack they are filling for.
- Remember to follow the general bonus round rules, outlined here.
- Here is a prompt/fill index for your convenience.

Tezuka and Sanada pass one another wordlessly the first time they meet after Nationals. There's too much to say, and at the same time nothing to say at all. They meet at the pool of all places. Tezuka's shoulder is still recovering, and the water supports him. He needs to regain his strength, and his physical therapist encouraged him to take advantage of the water whenever he was able. He's determined not to let his injury stop him, despite the way it aches constantly now, and the way it gives out alarmingly when he tries to lift anything heavier than a notebook.
He knows that Sanada is there for a similar reason, though Sanada's injury is far more recent. Sanada may have won their match in Nationals, but it came at a heavy cost. Perhaps not so heavy as Tezuka's, but even now, several weeks later, his legs haven't fully recovered.
They don't say anything when they pass one another in the pool. They keep to their own spaces, each working slowly as they try to regain the strength they've lost to their respective injuries. There's too much hanging in the air between them, but neither of them have ever been good with words.
The water is cold, but Tezuka's skin feels like it's burning as he watches Sanada. Maybe it's anger, frustration at himself for his own weakness, or maybe it's something else. He doesn't want to think about what that something else could be.
He knows Sanada already has his sights set on someone else. It's impossible to miss the way Rikkai's vice-captain looks at Yukimura, or the hours he spent at the hospital when Yukimura was ill. Tezuka considers himself lucky that he received so much as a text message from Sanada when his missed the Kantou Tournament finals.
Sanada slowly picks up his pace as stiff muscles loosen up, and half an hour later, he's swimming smoothly, any sign of his injuries smoothed away by the water. Tezuka is still moving stiffly, the water not enough to work out the ache in his shoulder and the way it catches when he tries to move it too far. Even in the water, there's no hiding his weaknesses and his flaws.
Tezuka keeps watching Sanada, keeps not thinking too hard about the emotions swirling under his skin. Sanada looks over at him more than once, and he knows his staring is obvious. He still can't find the words though. What is there to say, and what purpose would it serve?
It's not until Sanada pulls himself up out of the pool that Tezuka finally finds the words he wants to say. He swims in Sanada's direction, but he's too late. By the time he's close enough to be heard, Sanada is long gone, vanished through the door back inside to the showers.
It's an apt summary for their relationship, Tezuka thinks bitterly. Sanada has always been a man of ideals, and no matter how hard Tezuka has tried, he's never been able to reach them.
Re: FILL: Team Imaizumi Shunsuke/Kinjou Shingo, T
I can't believe you filled this with such angst. >.< And with Tezuka doing the pining too!! Honestly, that's such a rarity in Tenipuri fix? It's so refreshing! I hope Tezuka can find some inner peace, and maybe even find a way to live up to those ideals he so admires. Thank you!
