Bonus Round 3: FSTs

Please read this whole post before commenting to ensure that your team gets the most points possible.
RULES
- Submit prompts in the form of a short playlist (1-6 songs) and a ship from any of our nominated fandoms. Submit only the track listing and a link to where they can be listened to; the idea is for others to interpret what you present. You may also link to lyrics if you would like.
- Your prompt MUST include some kind of relationship. Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Lilia & Sara). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Lilia/Sara). Please don't say "Any pairing," either.
- Create content based on the playlists of others! Fill prompts by leaving a responding comment to the prompt with your newly-created work.
- Fills may be in any form you choose (except for another FST of course) as long as they are inspired by/fit the mood of the soundtrack they are filling for.
- Remember to follow the general bonus round rules, outlined here.
- Here is a prompt/fill index for your convenience.

Word Count: 1004 words
Warnings for implied future prostitution, death, violence - it’s a Hunger Games AU, what do you expect?
***
The Arena floods and everyone realizes the giant pillars of rock are now islands. The Tributes frantically try to splash upwards, to stay afloat despite the crashing waves that are turning the Arena into a lake.
Haru’s from Four. Rin wasn’t expecting him to survive too long but a field like this clearly gives the Tributes from Four the advantage.
The Careers are all taught to swim though. They can meet and match Haru in the water. Haru can’t have had to fight anything larger than a tuna in the waves.
The Cornucopia’s left above water on its own little island of rock. The Tributes that had been running towards it when the water rose splash towards it or swim, depending on how far away they were.
In the bloodbath that ensues, only the audience sees Haru paddling around the Cornucopia, grabbing all the ranged weapons and sinking them under water.
When he’s done, he takes a backpack at random and swims for the furtherest jut of rock.
Anyone who wants to kill him will have to swim to him. That’ll give Haru plenty of time to prepare.
*
Thirst kills faster than water. One of the Tributes who made it to safety scoops up a handful of water and drinks gingerly. Nothing happens for a few seconds, long enough for her to reach for a second handful, then she shouts and convulses.
Her body pitches forwards, falling into the water, and she never surfaces again.
*
When night falls, the water turns as black as ink. Silently, Haru slips into the water. He strokes through the waves like he was born in them, turning and arching so the water works with him instead of against him.
(They nicknamed Rin ‘the Shark’ for his sharpened teeth and bloody kills. He watches Haru swim and thinks that if he is a shark, Haru is the ocean, moving with the grace of the waves and endlessly, terrifyingly deep.)
He weighs himself down with no weapons. He doesn’t need them.
All he has to do is reach up and pull his opponents off the rocks they’re resting on. The rocks aren’t big enough for more than one person at a time and nobody will splash over to save their opponents. Only the Career pack would protect each other and Haru leaves them alone.
He drowns the outliers instead, taking them underwater and holding them there with himself so long that some Mentors wonder if Haru’s drowned as well.
(Rin bites his tongue to keep himself from laughing. Fools, all of them. Boys from Four don’t die to water.)
Haru’s smart enough to check their packs once they’ve died. He hides behind the rocks, floating in the water, and eats their supplies. Water is more precious. He takes it back to his rock, makes it last as long as it can.
*
When the Feast is announced, everyone knows what it’ll be. There’s water water everywhere but not a drop to drink.
Haru’s racked up an impressive kill count, especially for a non-Career. The Career Mentors are fuming, unable to get Sponsors, and the cash is pouring in for Four. Rin’s already sent Haru water twice to help him survive; each time, the camera caught Haru’s beautiful face turned upwards towards the camera, endless blue eyes wide and waiting but his mouth still set in a loose line instead of a smile.
(Rin told Haru to smile, to join up with the Careers. Haru said that he prefers to swim free. He’ll win his way or die his way.)
The reticence of his Tribute, somehow, just makes Haru all the more popular. Everyone wants to be the one to break through that distance.
(Rin looks at some of the Sponsor names and shudders. Those people will break Haru if the Arena doesn’t first.)
*
The Feast turns into a waiting game. The Careers wait for Haru. Haru waits for nightfall.
One of the Careers has night vision goggles, a fortunate find in a backpack. He takes point as they all spread out around the small island, ready to stop Haru wherever he might emerge from.
None of them expect the fishing net with weighted ends that Haru throws over the boy from Two.
He’s yanked under the water before anyone can react, ensnared in the net and and struggling desperately to cut his way free with his sword.
The weight of the sword only helps him sink faster.
The girl from Two makes the mistake of diving into the water after her partner to help him, armed with a knife to cut the net.
Instead, she meets Haru. Water resistance makes stabbing Haru harder - he smiles at her under the water, bubbles surrounding the both of them and swims back slowly enough to keep her chasing him.
By the time she realizes she’s too far out for anyone to help her, Haru’s got her ankle and pulls her down when she tries to surface for air.
*
It almost looks like Haru is going to win but the genegineers always need a moment to shine. The snapping, hungry fish that start swimming for the center of the Arena can leap out of the water and coordinate like a pack.
Rin can’t warn Haru to swim for safety but somehow, he swears, Haru knows anyway. Haru looks underwater at the direction the fish are coming from with a frown, then strokes quickly and efficiently through the water, heading for the Cornucopia.
The two Ones are still there; Haru pulls himself up on the far side, wet and dripping (and the camera tracks the run of water, lingers lovingly on his lean muscles in a way that makes Rin’s stomach twist for what it implies about what the Capitol has decided about Haru) and listens to the other two discuss what they should do.
*
Haru doesn’t need to drown the last two. He just pushes them off into the waiting mouths of the fish.
*
They crown Haru the Victor; Rin’s fellow Mentors offer their condolences.
