Bonus Round 3: FSTs

FSTs

SASO 2017 is over, but this round is perpetually open to new fills (no new prompts).

Profess your love for your favorite ships with the power of song! In this round, we ask you to create fan soundtracks and use them as inspiration for new fanwork.

Please read this whole post before commenting to ensure that your team gets the most points possible.

RULES
  • Submit prompts in the form of a short playlist (1-6 songs) and a ship from any of our nominated fandoms. Submit only the track listing and a link to where they can be listened to; the idea is for others to interpret what you present. You may also link to lyrics if you would like.
  • Your prompt MUST include some kind of relationship. Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Lilia & Sara). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Lilia/Sara). Please don't say "Any pairing," either.
  • Create content based on the playlists of others! Fill prompts by leaving a responding comment to the prompt with your newly-created work.
  • Fills may be in any form you choose (except for another FST of course) as long as they are inspired by/fit the mood of the soundtrack they are filling for.
  • Remember to follow the general bonus round rules, outlined here.
  • Here is a prompt/fill index for your convenience.

If you see anyone breaking the code of conduct (e.g., causing drama, being rude) anywhere (not just DW), please contact the mods immediately.

SCORING
These numbers apply to your team as a whole, not each individual teammate. Make as many prompts/fills as you want!

For prompts: 5 points each (maximum of 50 prompt points per team per round)

For fills:
First 4 fills by any member of your team: 20 points each
Fills 5-10: 15 points each
Fills 11-20: 5 points each
Fills 21-50: 2 points each
Fills 51+: 1 point each

All scored content must be created new for this round.

Etc.
If you're hunting through the prompts looking for what to fill, a good trick is to view top-level comments only (see the line of links below this post).

Have a question? Check The FAQ first. If you still need help, feel free to contact the mods. Happy fanworking!

***

It's his favourite bad habit, picking at things until they fall apart, but Tatsuya has always been about the metaphorical, picking at dreams until they're nothing, at goals until they're no longer within his reach, at relationships until they're replaced with cold silence and empty hearts.

He tries with Taiga. He tries so many times, and it's exhausting that he can't just do what he wants, he can't just walk away from the ruins because Taiga will piece them back together, almost faster than Tatsuya can destroy them, but that's always been Taiga. Stronger. Faster. More determined to do what he wants to do. It's exhausting, but that's not enough to have Tatsuya giving in because that would be too simple. In the almost twenty years of his life, Tatsuya has never once chosen the option that would have been more simple. It's simply not in his nature.

So he ruins it all, and pulls away from Taiga, and gives up on the fact that what they have can go anywhere good, that it can go anywhere at all, but Taiga refuses to give up on him, the way that Tatsuya has given up on himself. He's there, firm and loving and overwhelming, and everything in Tatsuya's mind is screaming that he can't have this, he's not allowed to have this, and he needs to get away before he's punished for wanting things like this. Taiga is too good for him, too kind, too caring, too talented for Tatsuya to be able to hold onto him and it'll be easier like this, to leave before Taiga finds something better, something more interesting, and leaves first.

"Stop it," Taiga says, his voice pained as he covers Tatsuya's hand with his on another quiet night, closed around the door handle and ready to run. Taiga's grip tightens, and it almost feels like he could crush Tatsuya's fingers under his own. "Stop this, Tatsuya."

With a deep, shuddering breath, Tatsuya squeezes his eyes shut. He leans into Taiga's touch, face pressed against his shoulder, and feels himself shake with frustration directed at himself, directed at both of them, and lets Taiga hold him even tighter.

"I'm here," Taiga murmurs. "I'm always going to be here. Stop worrying about that sort of thing, okay? I love you."

Taiga loosens his grip on Tatsuya's hand, but doesn't step away just yet.

Tatsuya lets go. He still wishes that Taiga would do the same.
