Bonus Round 3: FSTs

FSTs

SASO 2017 is over, but this round is perpetually open to new fills (no new prompts).

Profess your love for your favorite ships with the power of song! In this round, we ask you to create fan soundtracks and use them as inspiration for new fanwork.

Please read this whole post before commenting to ensure that your team gets the most points possible.

RULES
  • Submit prompts in the form of a short playlist (1-6 songs) and a ship from any of our nominated fandoms. Submit only the track listing and a link to where they can be listened to; the idea is for others to interpret what you present. You may also link to lyrics if you would like.
  • Your prompt MUST include some kind of relationship. Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Lilia & Sara). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Lilia/Sara). Please don't say "Any pairing," either.
  • Create content based on the playlists of others! Fill prompts by leaving a responding comment to the prompt with your newly-created work.
  • Fills may be in any form you choose (except for another FST of course) as long as they are inspired by/fit the mood of the soundtrack they are filling for.
  • Remember to follow the general bonus round rules, outlined here.
  • Here is a prompt/fill index for your convenience.

SCORING
These numbers apply to your team as a whole, not each individual teammate. Make as many prompts/fills as you want!

For prompts: 5 points each (maximum of 50 prompt points per team per round)

For fills:
First 4 fills by any member of your team: 20 points each
Fills 5-10: 15 points each
Fills 11-20: 5 points each
Fills 21-50: 2 points each
Fills 51+: 1 point each

All scored content must be created new for this round.

Etc.
If you're hunting through the prompts looking for what to fill, a good trick is to view top-level comments only (see the line of links below this post).

Hoo boy I need to come back to this one later

***

The manacles around Hajime's wrists were heavy, reminiscent of the weight of armour but perverted for a slave's purpose. His body was unclothed but for a meagre garment draped around his hips, and the heavy chains that bound his wrists and ankles. He felt like what he had become: an offering, a sacrificial lamb on the altar of Oikawa's mercy.

The king wore a haughty expression, his eyes lit by a cold fire, and he regarded Hajime with open disdain.

"What kind of a pleasure slave is this?" he asked in his arch voice. He gestured to the scars on Hajime's arms and chest. "You could hardly call him untouched."

Hajime said nothing. He wanted to jump to his feet and wrap his hands around the foreign king's slender neck.

"You look like a warrior," Oikawa said, eyeing him with suspicion. "Did they put you on the wrong ship?"

When Hajime continued in his determined silence, Oikawa raised his boot and stamped down on the heavy chains, jerking them hard so that Hajime pitched forward onto his hands and knees.

"Answer when your king addresses you," Oikawa said coldly.

Hajime squeezed his eyes shut for a brief moment, allowing himself a breath to steady himself and think. "My name is Iwaizumi," he said, taking the name of the commander he had fought alongside. He glanced up at Oikawa. "I was a warrior, Heika, as you say"

Oikawa lifted his chin. "The prince of Kitagawa must be a prize fool if he thinks I wish to rut a common soldier."

The words made Hajime's hackles rise, blood boiling, but he choked down the fury.

"Well then, Iwa-chan," Oikawa said in a light-hearted tone. "We'll have to find a way to put your talents to use." He laughed and tugged on the chains with his foot once more. "I think you will do very well in the gladiatorial ring."

—

Hajime fought three matches and won them each after another. The other slaves were bred for pleasure, not war, and he overcame most of them easily. But after each victory he stood and helped the prone slave to their feet, refusing to take his prize.

Oikawa's expression grew in intensity with each refusal, and rather than make Hajime pay a forfeit, we would wave his hand instead and demand another round.

Another opponent joined Hajime in the dusty ring, and as they locked arms, he hissed in Hajime's ear. "What are you doing? Don't antagonise the king, he'll kill you."

"I won't harm anyone," Hajime growled in response. "Not in his name."

The young man snarled and threw him off. "Fool," he snapped, before diving at Hajime again. Unlike the other slaves, this boy knew how to fight. Hajime suspected he had grown up on the streets, given his propensity to fight dirty, and the wildness in his eyes as they struggled. Unlike most of the other slaves, his hair was cropped short, and had been dyed a dirty blond with a dark stripe that ran around the middle..

The crowed roared as they each fought to force the other to the ground. Hajime took an elbow to the face, slamming hard against his nose, but he recovered quickly and bore the other boy to the ground. The young man struggled, but Hajime had him pinned, and the match was called to a halt soon after.

A hush fell as Oikawa rose from his seat. "Now what, Iwa-chan?" he asked, gesturing to where the boy lay beneath Hajime's weight, panting to the dust. "If you don't punish him, someone else will, and far worse."

Hajime stood, and reached down to haul the boy to his feet. "What's your name?"

The boy scowled at him. "Kyoutani."

"Well fought, Kyoutani-kun," Hajime said, grasping his wrist firmly.

"Guards," Oikawa said in a lazy voice. "Take that boy away and lock him up."

Hajime looked at Oikawa in horror. "No—"

"As for the great commander down there," Oikawa continued, his eyes burning into Hajime. "Have him shackled and brought to my chambers. No need to be gentle with him."

—

Having been hosed down and manacled again, Hajime was thrust through the doors to Oikawa's chambers with little ceremony. He barely managed to keep his feet, and looked up to find Oikawa watching him from his seat on a low chaise.

"Perhaps I was mistaken about you," Oikawa said slowly. "I had assumed you were a great warrior, presumably a fine strategist. And yet you don't seem to understand the basic principle of the gladiator ring."

Hajime swallowed. He had been received several beatings since his arrival, and he had little desire to endure another for answering back at the wrong time. "I understand the principle, Heika," he said. "But I refuse to inflict needless suffering on innocent people."

"You refuse?" Oikawa asked, rising from his seat.

There was no use in repeating himself. Hajime stared back at him, staunchly silent.

"What are you looking at?" Oikawa sneered, taking a step closer.

Instinctively, Hajime tugged at his restraints as Oikawa advanced, but he forced himself to stand his ground rather than back away. "Forgive me, Heika," he said, lowering his eyes.

Oikawa tutted. "On your knees."

Hajime gritted his teeth, but he did as instructed, sinking to one knee and then the other. Trying to keep up the show of deference, Hajime kept his eyes on the polished marble floor, so he didn't see the blow coming until Oikawa struck him. His head snapped to one side, cheek burning.

"You belong to me," Oikawa snarled. "Do you understand that?"

"I am yours," Hajime said through gritted teeth.

"You're mine to command."

The taste of blood filled Hajime's mouth. "Yes, Heika."
