Bonus Round 3: FSTs

SASO 2017 is over, but this round is perpetually open to new fills (no new prompts).

Profess your love for your favorite ships with the power of song! In this round, we ask you to create fan soundtracks and use them as inspiration for new fanwork.

Please read this whole post before commenting to ensure that your team gets the most points possible.

RULES

• Submit prompts in the form of a short playlist (1-6 songs) and a ship from any of our nominated fandoms. Submit only the track listing and a link to where they can be listened to; the idea is for others to interpret what you present. You may also link to lyrics if you would like.
• Your prompt MUST include some kind of relationship. Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Lilia & Sara). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Lilia/Sara). Please don't say "Any pairing," either.
• Create content based on the playlists of others! Fill prompts by leaving a responding comment to the prompt with your newly-created work.
• Fills may be in any form you choose (except for another FST of course) as long as they are inspired by/fit the mood of the soundtrack they are filling for.
• Remember to follow the general bonus round rules, outlined here.

SCORING

These numbers apply to your team as a whole, not each individual teammate. Make as many prompts/fills as you want!

For prompts: 5 points each (maximum of 50 prompt points per team per round)

For fills:
First 4 fills by any member of your team: 20 points each
Fills 5-10: 15 points each
Fills 11-20: 5 points each
Fills 21-50: 2 points each
Fills 51+: 1 point each

All scored content must be created new for this round.

It still feels like there’s too much distance between them, and Masako’s less than a foot away. Maybe Alex is just being greedy; how can she feel like this when they’ve spent so long so far from each other? Maybe she’s greedy but maybe she ought to be for putting up with so much distance for so long, for all those times she’s far away and Masako’s tired or grouchy or hurting and Alex is too far away to hold her and words on a telephone are not even close to enough. That makes the decision for her; even though Masako’s fine now there’s too much to make up for, too much the distance has robbed them of. Alex rolls over, halfway on top of Masako. She loops her arm around Masako’s waist, pulling her closer on the bed, her fingers lost in the soft folds of Masako’s shirt.

Masako yawns, arching her back, fitting perfectly against Alex, the muscles in her shoulders and the shape of her spine, her ass and the back of her thighs. She twists a little, squinting in the gauzy curtain-filtered sunlight. Without her glasses, Alex can’t see her that sharply even up close but she can tell the shape of Masako’s smile, the outline of her hand as she reaches up to tangle it in Alex’s hair and pull her in for a kiss.

“Good morning.”

It’s a really fucking good morning to wake up next to her, to have nowhere to be except here, with just the two of them. Alex hugs Masako closer, kissing her neck down to the stretched-out neckline of her shirt, feeling her stomach move as she sighs. This is still too much, almost enough, but Alex doesn’t want to get caught up in memorizing the shape of Masako in her arms, the way she looks all fuzzy and out of focus, the way she smells mixed in with Alex’s detergent and Alex’s shampoo. Maybe she’ll wish she had when Masako’s gone again, when she reaches out with her fingers and only feels air. But right now it’s too solid; she’s too solid (the ripple of her abs, the small birthmark on the back of her elbow, the space she takes up just by breathing, the end of her ponytail scratching at Alex’s bare side). It’s just as easy to focus on the present moment and revel in it, though, when it’s this good, this real, so unbelievable it crosses back over into things better than Alex could ever dream up.

Not even being in the same town feels like it's enough for Masako, who has gone so many years without seeing Alex that she tries not to remember it off the top of her head, because the number is too high for her liking.

(She remembers it anyway; four years, the last time being a trip she made to America, where they spent half of her visit in bed and the other half being so openly affectionate with each other that Masako had returned home and felt as if she had to remember how to be her usual self again.)

Alex is visiting Masako and also visiting Tatsuya, so she drops by Yosen to take a look around, and it's Masako who shows her around, who knows all the quiet corners to pull Alex into where no one will see them, where they can kiss in secret like they're the schoolgirls here.

The smile that Alex is wearing, equal parts blissful and wistful, tells Masako that she wants the exact same thing. They just want to lock themselves in Masako's apartment and not have to come back out until they're done thoroughly reacquainting themselves with each other's bodies. Even being within arm reach isn't close enough when they could be so much closer and it's a thought that stick sin Masako's mind all day, until it's finally time to leave and they're both hurrying to her apartment, only barely managing to keep their hands off each other before they're grabbing for each other, lips meeting in a desperate kiss, feet tripping over each other as they make their way to the couch, where they collapse into a graceless heap.

Masako is certain that she was much better at this when she was younger, but perhaps she also didn't know what it was like to want someone so desperately, only to have to wait years before actually being able to see them again.

"Hey," Alex murmurs with a smile, kneeling on top of her and bending down for another kiss. "God, I really missed doing this with you."

Masako missed it too, and she doesn't even bother to pretend otherwise. She pulls Alex close, until another slow, lingering kiss and nods. "I missed you too."

Smiling, Alex strokes the back of her fingers down Masako's cheek. "Well. I guess we'd better start making up for long time, then right?"

Masako tightens her grip on Alex. "Please."
